One of our favorites from 2013's "Arrival 01: Destination United Kingdom" release was "Sighted", by Polish phenom Kobana. Supported on Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy", it quickly became one of the most identifiable tracks from the compilation. We're thrilled to present two brand new remixes of Kobana's techno-influenced progressive gem by fellow veteran sensations G-Tek and MoodFreak.

Hailing from Panama, G-Tek is one of the original contributors to Silk Digital; it has been our great privilege to witness the range and evolution of his work over the last six years. He has chosen to give "Sighted" a deep, funky, and provocative vibe. A slowed-down, summer-flavored groove centers on the resonant bassline from the original version; meanwhile, a variety of erotic vocal stabs and delicate pads add melodic sustenance.

MoodFreak's take is a deep-progressive affair from the very start. A few familiar motifs from the original, in addition to a plethora of new side melodies and background effects, create an ominous aura. The energy continues to crescendo, suggesting that the suspect has been "sighted" and is now on the loose. The listener is rewarded by the evocative, often cinematic layers in MoodFreak's rendering.

Following on from “You Would / Mad Dog”, their impressive debut Anjunadeep release, emerging Italian producers Thomas Schwartz & Fausto Fanizza return to the label with a three track EP, showcasing their masterful melodic touch.

A much sought after track ID from a recent James Grant mix, A-side “Kirk” is a prime example of Thomas and Fausto’s deep, brooding sound. Warm bass is intertwined with stuttering vocal snippets and subtle rising melodies in this gorgeous slow burner.

“This World” sees Schwarz and Fanizza delve deeper still. Pulsating low end builds towards a mesmeric breakdown, full of cascading chimes, atmospheric textures and ethereal vocals. Harking back to the classic Anjunadeep styles of Michael Cassette and Paul Keeley, whilst harnessing the modern label sound, it was an instant favourite at Anjuna HQ.

Showcasing a tougher edge to their repertoire, “Tomahawk” is packed with dark, moody bass notes and pitched down vocal cuts to create a proper peak-time roller. Their trademark melodic touch comes to the fore in another memorable finale.

American veteran eleven.five continues to contribute brilliant progressive cuts to our label family. Recently, his collaboration with Meyce, "The Alliance" on Silk Royal, witnessed radio support from Above & Beyond. Now he's ready with a 2-track EP on Arrival, entitled "Gamble".

The title track starts off with a hypnotizing beat and intriguing sound effects, which are later accompanied by delicious woodwind notes. Stunning background stabs help build the soundscape, and in the break, we witness subtle, yet mesmerizing piano notes. The refreshing theme riff slowly builds thereafter, brilliantly surrounded by well-structured percussion layers.

The B-side, "Awkward Moment", starts out with gorgeous vocal effects and spellbinding sound effects in the background. As the song progresses, multiple delicate effects are added, thereby creating a brilliant atmosphere. The break showcases the fascinating theme riff to its full extent, hence letting the song continue in a true club-friendly soundscape.

Multi-platinum selling producer, composer, musician, and DJ, Matt Lange challenges categorization; equipped with an instinctual ear for creating music and an insatiable drive to explore the aural spectrum.

Lange’s career began working alongside multi-instrumentalist and producer Brian Transeau (BT), co-producing the album "These Hopeful Machines," earning him a Grammy Award-nomination in 2011. Matt then went on to co-write and produce Glenn Morrison’s "Goodbye (feat. Islove)" which was nominated as Dance Recording of the Year at the 2015 Juno Awards and later hit double platinum. Most recently, Lange was a producer on the Thirty Seconds To Mars album "AMERICA," which debuted #2 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

An adept music composer, and sound designer, Lange has created and licensed works for the blockbuster films Ready Player One, Blade Runner 2049, Deadpool 2, The Fast & Furious 8, and Transformers: The Last Knight along with video game franchises Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and DOTA II.

As an artist, Matt Lange has released records with some of the most influential electronic dance music labels in the industry such as Anjunabeats, mau5trap, and Armada and has performed across esteemed venues and festivals like Output, Sound Nightclub, Ministry of Sound, TomorrowWorld, EDC, and SXSW. Unburdened by genre and trends, the signature of Lange’s work is the relentless devotion to pushing music into the future.

Matt is also the host of Tap Tempo, a podcast which features insightful interviews with peers and collaborators ranging from A-list composers to DJs and includes artists from all backgrounds.
