The Ministry of Sound DJ/Producer’s back-story includes numerous Aria charts appearance’s, Inthemix DJ poll findings, residences (One Love’s Prince of Wales, Billboards, Q Bar, La La Land, 161, Platinum, Sorry Grandma, Lady Luck…) and flawless appearances countrywide. Pete Tong ploys on bbc etc – Thanks to the Essential Collection. And the man’s name continues to rank on the Australia Festival scene, closing Falls (with Mr. Andy Murphy…) for both 2010 and 2011 – Mind you, throwing down one hell of a New Years bash. Backing it up on each occasion with Summadayze main-stage gigs come New Years Day.  

Having just been signed to Ministry of Sound, ‘Sassafras’ with Timmy Trumpet has smashed it  #1 on the Aria Dance Charts and surpassed the Beatport Electro Charts Top 30. Follow up records/mixes with Trumpet, Andy Murphy and Oliver Twist to come. Backed up with radio-play, remixes and collaborations for/with Chuckie, Joachim Gerrad, Romero, P Money, Wiley, Carl Kennedy, The Stafford Brothers and DJ PP (Hot Fingers). Add to that a handful of records on their way via labels Hussle and Downright. 

When not on the decks – you’ll most likely find him at bar. Agwa-bomb in hand.

Duke Dumont is a contemporary electronic music powerhouse. Deeply committed to creating high quality music imbued with emotional depth, Dumont is versatile, extremely adept and hard working. His illustrious career has taken him on tour around the world, many times over, and placed him in the top tier of electronic music artists of his ilk.

Since 2007 Duke Dumont has channeled his deep love for electronic music into a variety of acclaimed releases, moving through pumping electro and vibrant techno to conquer the UK charts with “Need U 100%.” His early releases on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings helped establish his reputation for producing high quality club music that moves the dance floor, physically and emotionally. By 2012 he’d produced two career-defining EPs - For Club Use, Vol 1 and For Club Use, Vol 2. Tracks like “The Giver” cemented Dumont’s rep for catchy hooks, precision arrangement and powerful emotion. The fourth full-length from BROODS, Space Island is an exploration of grief and all its many dimensions. In keeping with the New Zealand-bred duo’s unfettered imagination—an element they’ve brought to multiple platinum-and gold-certified records so far—the album’s 10 tracks exist in a surprisingly radiant sonic realm, its aesthetic equally inspired by ’60s sci-fi B-movies and the balmy exotica of composers like Les Baxter.The most high-concept output yet from BROODS—a ten-time New Zealand Music Award-winning act who’ve amassed over a billion streams to date, collaborated with the likes of Lorde and Tove Lo, toured with HAIM and Taylor Swift, and taken the stage at major festivals such asCoachella and Lollapalooza—Space Island came to life during a period of serious upheaval for lead vocalist Georgia Nott. Having married at the age of 21, she went through a difficult divorce soon after the release of BROODS’ previous album Don’t Feed the Pop Monster(a 2019 effort that led to appearances on“Late Night with Seth Meyers” and“The Late Late Show with James Corden”).
