Raffaele Rizzi has been hitting all the right spots lately so it was only a matter of time before he had a full release on Deeperfect, so this EP was the perfect candidate. 

&#8220;Open Grave&#8221; stomps and pumps with full force, keeping the arrangement to a clever bare minimum. The tricky bassline rises and falls to the huge momentum caused by the dominant hi-hats, leading up to a siren line that prepares us for the apocalyptic breakdown. 

The title track touches down like a steamroller grinding away, while the sneakiest of riffs creeps in and takes control with carefully planned tension. Meanwhile, an infectious vocal loop and bouncy snare edits add the necessary quirkiness to get things moving even more. Tony Dee&#8217;s interpretation takes a dubbier route with prominent sub bass and more focus on the vocal action, in combination with a more atmospheric rendition of the main riff.

&#8220;Buenos Aliens&#8221; picks up from there and drops some ultra-pitched-down vocals, while rumbling subs hold things down and let the rising and falling synth line take control effortlessly through cavernous effects and eerie washes. The same goes for Cele&#8217;s interpretation of &#8220;Cielo&#8221;, where a busier rhythm section provides the momentum and dark synth stabs mix with the playful sub bass to create maximum impact.

ANNA is one of Brazil's finest exports, exploding onto the electronic music scene as one of the most exciting female DJs & producers of this new era. With an intense love of music from an early age, she has been rocking clubs in her home country since she was 15 years old, and it shows! ANNA's presence and ability behind the decks is simply stunning, igniting the dance floor and creating pure energy that captivates everywhere she plays. After temporarily moving to Europe in 2008 to start pursuing an international career, things started to progress quickly, taking in tours across Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Czech Republic and more. Having always been interested in music production, it was at this time that Anna got a taste for the studio and developed her unique sound of deep, yet energetic Tech-House & Techno. Since then she has been releasing her music on some of the scene's finest labels, including Christian Smith's Tronic, Kraftek, Witty Tunes, Bla Bla and Toolroom Records. ANNA has also been creating a fine catalogue of remixes, giving her distinctive treatment to Pleasurekraft, Baher & Fulltone, Victor Ruiz & Alex Stein, D-Nox & Beckers, The Scumfrog, Oliver Klein & Ramon Tapia, Anderson Noise, Filthy Rich, Format B, and more. 'The Tropics' and 'Lava' are influenced by tropical weather and fire from Sinisa's volcano hopping experience and trips around the earth. The first tune 'Lava' is a ride into a more deeper techno sound with a long and atmospheric break, mixed with some trippy vocals and effects. With all these elements, Sinisa leads us into a massive explosion when the after break, the bass and groove drop heavily. The second track on EP, 'The Tropics' is a perfect summer hit with Sinisa's heavy baseline and tech house rhythms. Organic drums and a hot male vocal precisely fit to the beats making a serious shake on any dance floor.

At the other end of the spectrum, Adrian Hour is no stranger to this ethos.
