I am honored and blessed to be alive during a time when unbelievably talented artists are creating some of the world's most incredible compositions. This two-hour journey delves into the more chilled out, mind-expanding, entheogenic, heart-opening realms of my music collection. Over the years, these songs have provided me with inspiration and healing. They have been the soundtrack for intimate moments such as hiking and meditating in nature, sunset bike rides on Venice Beach, relaxing in the sand and surf, and driving through the gorgeous mountain ranges of California. Matt Xavier is a professional ambient-techno DJ, gestalt experiential counselor, psychedelic-assisted therapist and author of The Psychedelic DJ: A Practical Guide to Therapeutic Music Curation & Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy: https://a.co/d/j7efcy9

Since 1993, Matt's contribution to the global electronic music culture has been undeniably psychedelic. In the early 90's he co-founded New York City's first and foremost psychedelic trance company, Tsunami Productions, where he served as resident DJ and music director until the turn of the millennium. Following his departure from the psy-trance format, he began producing deep techno, house and progressive under the moniker "Gruvhaus", with releases & remixes appearing on such labels as Fabric, Release Records, Polyester Music, Fugu and Chug Records. 

In 2005, he founded the NYC techno-house music imprint Railyard Recordings which saw releases and remixes from such international techno legends as Joel Mull, Cari Lekebusch, Alexi Delano and Donato Dozzy. While residing in Los Angeles, Matt held the role of resident DJ and music director at Compression, The Mor Bar and Subtract Music. 

Matt has performed at many of North America's most prominent electronic music festivals, venues, and underground gatherings, as well as select events around the globe. Known for his unique blend of psychedelic house, trippy techno, and hypnotic ambient/chillout, his sound has consistently created transformative spaces for dancers and listeners alike.

Today, Matt’s focus is on providing effective, clinically grounded, guided psychedelic therapy for individuals seeking mental and spiritual healing through the intentional and safe use of psychedelic medicines.
