i've been DJing forever as Big G, SUNZ OF AXIS and Sub Erb+Kaos.... I was a box boy and DJ for the Mighty Axis Sound System , I lifted heaps of giant speaker boxes  and learned about Dub, Reggae and Dancehall...thank you Paul Axis, Mikey DON and Natty B you all helped me become a most powerful Jedi ..... ;] 
In the late 90's I owned my own record shop - Proper Records,  big up Joss Jinx,( https://soundcloud.com/jinxindub ),Matt Proper, Bladey and Bones - could not have done it without these guys) 
We also had 3 labels "Birth" "HomeGrown" and "Proper", (Django made the tunes (https://soundcloud.com/oniidub) and Bent Coppa helped run tingz...........https://soundcloud.com/bentcoppa

We also ran a few decent nights and many "big names" started out on our stage... 

New Zealand has been my home for 20 years now ..... 

i'm still playing tunes....
but doing it in the sun is heaps more fun.

Formerly Xterminator Productions, XTM.Nation was formed in 2012 post death of the great Philip Fatis Burrell REST IN POWER, by his son Kareem Remus Burrell, which saw releases from Jesse Royal, Kayla Bliss, Beres Hammond, Richie Spice, Lutan Fyah and more. This label is a restoration really of the father label, and will continue to produce tracks with its signature sound that it is Known for. When Jesse Royal was only a cub, the Lord revealed to his mother that she would have to release one of her sons to the world, proclaiming “he will be a psalmist, declaring righteousness and justice throughout creation.” As Jesse matured into a young lion, his mother observed in him a strong sense of integrity and a natural ability to positively affect those around him. But, it was his deep spirituality, passion for life and unique connection to music that would convince her that he was being molded to be used by the Creator. 

Jesse David Leroi Grey, aka Jesse Royal, was born April 29, 1989. He enjoyed his early years in the hills of Maroon Town and the District of Orange in St. James before moving in the late 90’s with his mother and brother to join his father in Kingston. As fate would have it, Royal developed a special relationship with Daniel ‘Bambaata’ Marley (son of Ziggy Marley) at school. His friendship with Daniel proved to be fuel to the fire as they shared a deep passion for music and football. Their friendship evolved as they spent a great part of their childhood together. Soon the natural inclination confirmed they were simply brothers with different mothers. As these cubs became lions so grew their devotion to music. With the help of longtime friend Curt ‘Qban’ White they began composing and creating their own music. And together they proceeded to fulfill what they knew was a predestined musical journey, designed to inspire, engage and unite people beyond all geographic borders. 

After Jesse returned home from schooling abroad, he reestablished a relationship with high school friend and young producer Kareem ‘Remus’ Burrell (son of Philip ‘Fatis’ Burrell). They began creating and composing music together also, which developed into a Movement as they shared similar views on the social state of Jamaica. 

Blessed with a voice that captures the pain and hunger of a ‘downtrodden’ people; Royal’s militant character and profound lyricism caught the heart of heralded reggae producer, Philip ‘Fatis’ Burrell. Fatis Burrell, affectionately called ‘Father’ had a great and pure impact on the ‘old soul’ of Jesse; as he credits him as an invaluable inspiration and one of the most influential individuals that he has ever encountered.

Working with musicians such as Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare, Donald Dennis, Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith and Monty Savory; Jesse is currently in the studio putting the final touches on his debut album with producer Kareem Burrell of the XTM.Nation. Jesse Royal has released three mixtapes , Misheni, In Comes The Small Axe and Royally Speaking with Major Lazer. His Debut Album "Lily of The Valley" is now available on all digital platforms.

 A fundamental sense of oneness of all life can be reached through music but there has to be a base consistent in compassion and empathy.” 
   Born Christopher Smith in St. Thomas US Virgin Islands, and formerly known as Ras Puma, Puma Ptah remembers writing lyrics from as early as elementary school. His earliest musical memories and inspiration include watching an uncle playing upright bass and guitar in local Mento band, and listening to grandmother perform acoustic songs in front of church and before bedtime. He was encouraged to enter cultural competitions to which his uncle Mungo “Magnus” Niles would be honored for being a leader in preserving cultural folk heritage in the VI, and a musical entertainer who toured the US with his cultural dancers and steel band players being featured in several Hollywood movies in the 60’s. 
  In 2006 he moved to Virginia where he joined several Virginia based bands which eventually lead to joining the renowned DC based Thievery Corporation and being featured on their 2011 “Culture of Fear” album recording songs "Overstand" and "False Flag Dub". He continues touring with the group gaining more experience while gracing stages at Austin City Limits, Lallapalooza, Ultra Fest, Governer’s Ball, The Greek Theatre, Red Rocks and many more.
  In 2012 he was featured on the “The Archives” debut album produced by Eric Hilton of Thievery Corporation with tracks “Who’s Correct” “More to Life” “Sensibility” and more.
  Touring throughout countries like Europe, South America, the US and more, Puma developed a passion for photography which gave him another means of emphasizing his lyrics. This passion has lead him to work with non-profits, mentoring and teaching basic photography skills to elementary and high school youth. 
  In 2013 he moved back home temporarily in search for a change of pace from the city life, and for inspiration for future solo projects. In 2014 after an official 8 year journey and commitment, Puma decided to take the Ras off his artist title and move forward from the faith. At the end of the year he took a solo trip to India that convinced him to change his perspectives on humanity in general, identity, and music. In 2015 he added the title “Ptah” which generally represented craftsmanship and the creativity of artisans in Kemetic society, but originated with the ability to transform raw scattered thoughts and ideas, and manifest a dynamic use of organized words and thoughts. 
  Puma is currently recording tracks for the upcoming Thievery Corporation album while moving into the solo world teaming up with Honest Music to release his EP “In One Accord” starting with his single “One” being released on April 10, 2015. 

Chezidek the Herbalist! Rastafari roots and culture singer from St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica. Chezidek emerged on the scene in 2002 with his first album “Harvest Time” ( Vp records), produced by Phillip “ Fattis” Burrell (exterminator rec.). Chezidek unique voice and melodies with cultural, spiritual and sometimes political topics earned him a place in the heart of Reggae fans in Jamaica and worldwide. 
In 2004 chezidek made his first hit song “Leave de Trees” a song he recorded for Hugh Miller ( Our Promotion Labe), Leave De Trees topped the Reggae Charts and made him a house –hold name in Jamaica, the Caribbean and everywhere reggae music plays. 
In 2007 he released his 3rd album “Inna de Road” (Green sleeves Records) produced by Bobby Konders of Massive B Records, with hits like “Inna De Road, Dem A Fight We and Call Pon Dem”. This album is one of the most loved in roots and culture music of today. 
Chezidek has performed for thousands of reggae fans in Jamaica, Caribbean USA and Europe and on most of the major Reggae Festivals. He has worked with popular producers such as Bobby Digital, Dan Carleon, Sly and Robbie, just to name a few, also with European based producer Jah Solid Rock, which released two albums “for Chezidek "Judgement Time” , and recently " The Order Of Melchezedik" wich was released April 16 2013 . 
Chezidek is one of the few roots singer who sticks to the conscious side of the music and never change. As a youth , coming from the home of the Honourable Marcus Garvey, Robert Nesta Marley and Burning Spear, Chezidek was influenced by the ancient Rastafarian tradition and his African roots. A man of righteousness inspired by the Most High Jah Rastafar I. 
Chezidek latest album “ FREEDOM FIGHTERS “ released August 6, 2013 , produced by One Drop records out of California is also another chapter from the book of the spiritual chanter, Chezidek the herbalist, the environmentalist, the Italist, the defender of the cannabis sharing his songs of redemption ,out and available for all reggae fans. 
Chezidek continues on his spiritual , musical journey with the message of righteousness and justice, through the powers of the Most High Jah Rastafari
