Kicking off our Maucast mixtape series is the anomalous Plusculaar from the sunny land of Romania. Known for his highly spiritual vibe, Plusculaar delivers a 1-hour long mix of his own productions only.

Fjunu is a fresh name in the scene. He has always been a passionate music listener, until 2018 when he caught up on house music and started producing and DJing small gigs.
Through small gigs in his hometown and neighboring cities Fjunu has developed a distinct deep, dark and quirky sound with precise and smooth mixing that you can often hear in his sets.
Even though he likes to play deep sounds, he doesn’t want to stick on genres too much, so you can also hear a wide range of different soundscapes from him.

Dublin based producer, Laughing Man has been producing since 2007 under various aliases. His style of music can be described as atmospheric house with minimal beats, breaks and a strong bass line, creating a unique blend of electronic music catering to fans of anything deep. He has released music on labels such as Berg Audio, Fasten Musique Concrete, Druzhba and Daydream to mention a few. He has also released records on his own label Standalone Records as well as his new imprint Hosta.
A veteran DJ in Dublin’s club scene, Laughing Man runs his own events in various venues throughout the capital. Over the last few years, he has brought his music abroad, playing in the UK, France and Belgium as well as playing for the first time at DC-10 in Ibiza at one of Game Overs’ One Night Stand events. 2020 has been a very productive year for Laughing Man with regard to releases and with more exciting projects yet to come in 2021

Stripped-down rhythmic expositions nuanced with subtle layers of groove and deep intimate textures. With the goal of curating and cultivating a "Finnish" sound for minimal music, Ed Kim can be found playing around local venues of Helsinki such as Post Bar, Kaiku and Stidilä, and making monthly web radio mixes for Ida Radio Helsinki under the show Sunya and for UK-based Komrad.live under the show Finnimal.

Aficionado of minimal, Ed Kim is a Korean-American DJ from California, who found a home in the underground and club venues of Finland. Their crew “Sunya” aims to build a minimal scene in Helsinki eventually turning into a label, curating and exploring Finnish minimal music. They also run a radio show on IDA Radio Helsinki.
