My music pieces are all piano improvisations expressing emotions. It is music telling stories without the words. In my earIy years I sang and played piano in piano bars or fronted bands of different styles, from country to heavy metal and to 40. I've been composing, teaching and performing most of my life.  I'm getting old(er) now 😔 but the great thing about creating music is it gets better the longer you play, and you have more to write about! 

This is what I leave of me to my generations to come who wonder where their desire to make music comes from. My mother, grandmother and great grandmother were both accomplished pianists when they were young. My son is also exceptional.  My great grandmother and gr grandfather sang and danced in minstrel shows (vaudeville) in the early 1900's. Kids today have no idea what life was like before moving pictures.  I now have great-grandchildren. They will know who I am through my music. When I am gone my music will still be here. What a wonderful thought!

I work with professional virtual instruments (VSTs) as well as real instruments like strings and piano to shape immersive soundscapes that move and inspire.

🧠 My view on AI in music:
I’m not against artificial intelligence – it can be useful in certain creative contexts.
But I believe listeners have the right to know whether a piece was made by a human or a machine. Transparency matters.

Platforms like Deezer have already announced their intent to detect and label AI-generated music to help protect the rights of real artists. The first patents for this technology were filed in late 2024.

Unlabeled AI music undermines trust and devalues the work of those who compose with honesty and care.

If you come across such content, feel free to speak up – not to judge, but to preserve the authenticity of music.

Or Mishal was born on May 31, 1974, in the Tel Aviv city of Israel. At the age of one, professional diagnostics revealed an unusual musical potential that attracted many visitors.

At age 4, he performed his first concert accompanied by the Philharmonic Orchestra in front of a large audience and was defined as a prodigy. The affair with keyboards didn’t last long and it was decided to let him grow up as a child normatively. At the age of 10 he went on to study piano, synth, and drums.

In 1985, when he was only 11 years old, he felt a strong attraction to guitar studies and began taking private lessons focused on classical music. After a few lessons, he left the field and returned to it after a year and a half, when he was determined to study and specialize in guitar studies.

By the age of 13, he started performing at local festivals and won first place awards every year. He then began to compose and write songs for local singers. During his growth, he improved his skills from time to time. In 2008, his desire to study and specialize in blues and rock increased, and he enrolled in a local music college.

After a few years of schooling, he continued to develop his professional skills on his own and develop a unique style of music that he identified with.

Mishal's instrumental songs are unique in their style and simplicity, and the blend of sounds tells a subconscious story that takes the listener to new districts.
