Emapea made his way into the world of beat-making after several releases and a first album in 2016. The producer comes back with a second full-length record ‘Dreaming Zone’. Emapea didn’t lose his spark and brings a long-player that reminds his connection to an old-school Hip-Hop style, yet always pushing towards freshness brought by the typical use of groovy piano leads and the addition of smooth vocals.

Between breakbeat and jazz, the thirteen tracks succeed each other in a delicate soundscape that favours dreaminess. ‘Dreaming Zone’ achieves a certain airiness yet thoughtfulness that will carry your spirits up in another auditive dimension.﻿

The first single being released today on the catalog with the very talented producer & beatmaker Oh, My which we have previously worked with in the past. Liquorice is a smooth, calm and very relaxing track that he’s made while travelling through Sicily, Italy. He started his journey there in September to boost his inspiration and creativity and as you can hear from the track it’s flowing through the notes in this beautiful song he’s sharing with us all now.

The tracks we’re seeing from Oh, My’s catalog really gives the listener a glimpse into his attention to detail but still minimal approach of making music and he keeps on sharing these experiences with his listeners.

Main theme to Giant Squid's / Matt Nava's game ABZU. The original version posted here 2 years ago was a 'concept' iteration, in which only the oboe and vocals (soloist as a scratch choir) were real. That version was published in the 2014 E3 trailer. This is the final version, retaining the oboe (same recording!), but with now fully live / mixed / mastered orchestra, choir and harp ensemble.

Spiritfarer is a project that’s very close to the heart for me and the talented team at Thunder Lotus Games. It’s a positive, colourful and serene adventure about life, grief and compassion, where you guide spirit friends to the afterlife after caring for them in their last moments. It's not only about saying goodbye to characters but reflecting on what they leave after they've gone. It hopes to help us better address and openly discuss the subject of death, a common reality we’re all faced with.

The times we are living through have made the experience of writing music for this project all the more meaningful and I feel like Spiritfarer couldn’t have come at a better moment. The connections and relationships we develop with our friends and families stay with us, we have to treasure them, be more compassionate as individuals and a society, and better learn to say goodbye when the time comes.
