Collecting Sounds Around the World was written during my travels in India, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Burma, Nepal & several other countries. 

Most of the compositions have been inspired by the fascinating cultures, people & friends I've encountered during my journeys. This album would never have seen the light of day without them.

Avec force s'efforce de forger l'fer 
Depuis qu'sa pomme est rongée par les vers 
Depuis qu'il voit le fond d'son verre 
Albert veut voir le fond d'l'affaire 
Veut décoller sans jamais r'mettre les pieds sur terre 
Albert veut d'l'imprévu 
Du spontané, du grand, du jamais vu 
Fi-fi-fini l'hésitation conventionnelle 
Il veut du faux, d'l'erreur, de la bévue 
Du bordel, du bruit dehors, du pêle-mêle 
Fini la chute libre en avant avec les bras tendus 
Albert veut du backflip et des figures inattendues 
De l'émotion, du transcendant, du 100% pur jus 
Avec la pulpe, le zeste et puis la peau d'l'orange à manger crue 
Pour Albert c'était pas prévu c'morceau 
Comme dirait Milk Coffee & Sugar 
En morceaux, amoché, mal amorcé 
C'est la mort, c'est déjà trop tard 
Assurément, si Albert a la tête trop près du seau 
Et mesure le grand saut sans s'avancer 
Si sa dernière lettre est d'jà frappée du sceau 
Scellant son lot, l'empêchant d'cadencer 
Son existence comme il l'entend : recto verso 
Avec de l'encre à gogo, sans gestes convulsés 
Sans la peur du ver solitaire, du rouge sang 
Sans la peur d'être placé sur le mauvais versant 
Albert veut faire de l'imprévu la panacée 
Défier l'obtus et le censé 
Boire au goulot son panache et 
Cracher ses maux pour mieux les prononcer 
Sans l'angoisse de la sentence, du verdict et 
Sans voir ses vers dictés 
Albert veut transformer sa vie en odyssée 
Rejoindre l'Académie des Aléas 
Crier "ouhla, hélas, hourra", et cetera 
Sans retenue héler les fidèles membres de l'équipage 
Prendre de l'élan collectivement pour mieux tomber 
Inopinément, et pis pour mieux tourner la page 
Albert veut du dodu, joufflu, bouffant et du bombé 
Il veut gonfler ses lettres, ses phrases, ses frasques 
Sortir de route, empruntant sans prévenir les sentiers détournés 
Draguant le hasard déroutant et faisant fi du port du casque 
Trainant l'allure d'un débutant, la boue collée aux basques 
Caressant l'surprenant sur un rythme effréné 
Baffant les obstinés bafouant leur destinée cachés derrière un masque 
Albert regarde-les ! Tapant des mains tels des primates décérébrés 
Contemplant la télé tels des clébards devant l'os à ronger 
Hypnotisés par les yeux du python, ses fausses manœuvres 
Regarde la foule avaler des couleuvres 
Et célébrer n'importe quel navet comme un chef-d'œuvre 
Il avait bien raison Jean d'Ormesson 
Regarde-les tirer la couette vers eux pour que tu dormes sans 
Et après tout tant mieux, ça f'ra plus de frissons 
Sans ces paresseux dépressifs 
Manquant d'zèle intempestif 
Ne sachant apprécier la fantaisie que par soupçons 
Et fredonnant les mêmes chansons 
Mais tu nous emmerdes Suzanne 
Et qu'est-ce 'tu nous chicanes ?! 
Tiens, j'paye sa rançon et ses amendes

Original soundtrack from the video game Jotun, a hand-drawn action-exploration game set in Norse mythology. In Jotun, you play Thora, a Norse warrior who has died an inglorious death and must prove herself to the Gods in order to enter Valhalla. 

The soundtrack highlights all the great moments of the game, from the atmospheric exploration levels to the epic boss battles. A musical journey that will take you through the five corners of Norse purgatory, leaving you with a sense of wonder, excitement, hardship and triumph.

Yeonmi Park escaped from North Korea as a child to live her life free from the oppression of the country’s regime. This beautiful and touching animated short film tells her story and illustrates what Yeonmi had to go through when her family decided to risk everything in hope for a better life. Yeonmi’s story is one of extreme hardship but also survival and hope, I'm truly honoured to have had the chance to put into music such an amazing journey.
