Budgey Equinox Events Resident & :affinity Artist & Underground Enthusiast 

For Budgey, the musical path was embarked upon from a relatively young age. Experiencing the dizzying highs of electronic events initially in his late teens, Daniel Bugeja was instantly beset with a desire for a more personal level of musical involvement. Wanting to be the one responsible for facilitating the dancefloor vibe in comparison to being a component of it, DJing quickly became the goal for Budgey.

Now more than half a decade into this journey, his deep, ruminating take on techno music has been a staple component of the collective Equinox showcases. Drawing particular influence from seeing deep techno’s finest acts on the European stage, Budgey is persistent in his desire to improve as an artist as he ventures into production. An avid fan of nature, for Budgey the physical & spiritual worlds remain permanently intertwined - a connection he shares through a sound that is both proudly organic and powerfully hypnotic.

Budgey has notably supported world-renowned acts inclduding Matrixxman & Deepbass, while also playing at both multiple editions of LUFT and Burning Seed festival.
