The LE VILLAIN 1000 PROJECT  , Haiti Fellaz check it out. Giovanni Martelly aka Le villain born Oct 7 1983 in North Miami Beach fl. Grew up between Broward and Dade county attending schools in both counties. At a very young age he started visiting Haiti in the summer time which started his love for the music and culture it had to offer. He was already listening and studying different artists from all types of genres of music and taught himself how to play the congas and drums at the age14 but never pursued it full time. Instead he wrote rap songs about how cool it was to be Haitian in pursuit of being a rapper and created his first song entitled “Where my zoes at” . Le villain since then has been writing and co-producing songs in English and creole. He is a song writer, group leader of the Haiti Fellaz, percussionist, and producer. Haiti Fellaz was created by Le villain and his cousin and band member Zoe slim in 2003. Since then Le villain has given concepts and ideas for both mix tapes that the group has produced .Le Villain also has performed with local konpa bands as a percussionist and rapper in local bars in Broward and Dade County. With the group Haiti Fellaz, he has performed throughout the local Haitian community in Miami Florida; Clubs such as: mocha cafe, moshka, and festival events such as zaka fest. Musical influences include a rang of artist between konpa and hip hop like dado pasquet, tribe called quest, sweet Micky and the fugees. Le Villains ability two put the two genres konpa and hip hop together to bring a new sound to the new genre called rap kreyol. He has always been very passionate about his parents native island Haiti for its music and culture. So much that he lives his everyday life as an American with Haitian cultures and values fusing the two together in every thing he does from lyrics to music. Haiti Fellaz is to show the world the mix of Haitian American lifestyle through music beats and rhymes. To uplift Haitian Americans to be proud of where there families are from across the United States and the world.
