Underground club music has a penchant for existing beneath the radar. Its parties squat in the sweat-soaked shadows of unsuspecting dive bars and undisclosed (RSVP for address) locations that are constantly threatened by gentrification and crackdowns by the authorities. Visibility is key to bolstering these vibrant communities but many exist beyond mainstream dance music culture, making them difficult to find outside major cities like New York, LA or Chicago. But still, the momentum behind the Southern and Midwestern experimental scenes is steadily growing and you can now find incendiary sounds across America's heartland.

Disparate cities such as Atlanta, Houston, Milwaukee and Ohio may receive less shine, but the crews and labels behind their respective homegrown subcultures are intent on making an impact. They choose to write their own rules. Pay attention.

When not running a successful design agency or co-helming London stalwart and Four Heads favourite, @OfParadiseRecords, Fade has somehow found the time amongst the madness to become a fantastically adept and accomplished DJ - trust us, this hype is most definitely real. 

True to the sound Of Paradise transmit, Fade has a penchant for the darker tones of the dance spectrum. Mechanical and other worldly textures echo throughout the hour - starting off at Neptune, bypassing planet earth and straight into another dimension. Fade's in the cockpit though, have no fear.

FYI @ofparadisefade's on the roster of Dispatch Agency's newly fledged booking agency so you'll be seeing her in clubs a plenty near you! Make sure you follow her movements and check her out! I'm sure after this you will do.

Mumdance - Shared Meanings

@eluize is many things: a producer, DJ, and label head, whose passions over the years have ranged from maths to (more recently) motherhood - both of which and more she discusses in an upcoming interview with us. Her label, Night Tide (@nighttideaudio), whose mission is deep melodic underground electronic music, has released music from @albrecht-labrooy, @djenacosovic, and @hans-berg.

Based in Berlin but with a foot still firmly grounded in her hometown of Adelaide, Eluize’s productions and mixes span techno, house, acid and more, fuse acoustic instrumentation with synths and machines, creating textures that are spacious, euphoric and rhythmically alluring.

Her Patterns of Perception 43 is at once precise, vivid and lush, a perfect antidote to the gathering darkness of Berlin’s coming winter.
