Just an old rythmbox (from Roland) laying down a beat that a quick, tidy bassriff fits over, and then these two guys plays guitars - this was actually a 'band' called Tonedeath, where this young and going up guitarplayer flings off more notes in a second than most do in a minute - Kyrre Trohjell at the age of 18/19 and this old geezer who steered Badtripp into the abyss, Geir Arne Moi, at that time 32/33 years old. We did not plan songs, we just played them as they came. "Motorbass" is Moi mostly on bass and Trohjell doing the lead guitar. Recorded on a Teac 1980-cassette based 4-track 'studio'. Maximiliano's always innovating. He launched "Factory Reset" to showcase his love for underground house and techno, and it's been making waves worldwide. Plus, his "Tuesday is for techno... not for tacos" podcast on Blast Radio built a seriously loyal following. Lately, he and Factory Reset have been touring South and Central America and Canada, bringing their unique sound to new audiences. Closer to home, Maximiliano is a key player in the DC Underground community, having co-founded "Lollipop DC" in 2017. Their mission? To make dance floors safe, inclusive, and full of love – a sweet idea that's now spreading to other cities!
