This was the result of my attempts to produce a generic town theme for a videogame that does not exist. After I had finished I realized that I had gone a little crazy with the bongos and the song had became much less generic and taken on a more beachy vibe. There are points in this track that could easily be looped to so that the piece may be used as background music. However, while I am proud of what I was able to create I fear that the whole thing is a tad too crazy to be well suited for this purpose. the melody is a saw from Donkey Kong 64, and the organ is from Yoshi's Island, hence why these games are in the tags. BeachyTownTheme

This is another attempt at creating themed music in a video game style. This time I was going for some sort of ice level theme. As a challenge I forbid myself from using sleigh bells. I had a lot of fun creating this one, and am especially happy with the Violin/Guitar duet section. I tried especially hard to establish a motif throughout the piece but in doing so I fear I may have made it a bit repetitive. Please let me know what you think. One of the pieces I wrote and performed for my valentines day shenanigans out on the Landis green. It initially didn't have vocals recorded as I only needed the backing track to play so I could sing over it and interject people's names into it live, hence the placeholder.  I was sort of trying to emulate electric light orchestra with this one, and I'm quite happy with the end result.
