Nocturnal Journeys

One of the pieces I wrote and performed for my valentines day shenanigans out on the Landis green. It initially didn't have vocals recorded as I only needed the backing track to play so I could sing over it and interject people's names into it live, hence the placeholder.  I was sort of trying to emulate electric light orchestra with this one, and I'm quite happy with the end result.

Coming To Term With Frustrating Pieces

I wrote this song in 2017 and recorded it on my third studio album 'Durban Girl'.  I was fortunate enough to record this album in Nashville with my wonderful producer friend Fred Molin. (Billy Joel, barbara Streisand etc). It speaks to those who have lost someone in their lives.  I like to believe that our loved ones stay with us or at come to visit to give us strength as we live our lives.  It's as if in our darkest moments, they are there saying "I have faith in you".

Described as “absolutely brilliant” by BBC Radio, singer-songwriter Annie Bonsignore is a multi award-winning, genuine triple threat.  This singer, songwriter, and pianist recently completed her third studio album, “Durban Girl”, with famed producer Fred Mollin (Billy Joel, BB King) in Nashville, released April 2018.

The South African native was born to a large musical family of 7 children, and has been composing music since 8 and singing professionally by 10. She’s since had a broad career performing and song-writing both here and internationally. Bonsignore has released two critically praised (BBC and CBC) self-produced albums of original works: Shades of Red (2014),  and Be Careful What You Wish For (2016).

Bonsignore’s many accolades include: Toronto Independent Music Award (Finalist, 2017), a Newmarket Jazz Festival Fan Choice Award (Winner, 2017), The Hogtown Hang Fan Choice Award (Winner, 2015), Q107’s Vocal Contest Winner, Coca-Cola Pop Stars (Finalist), as well as South African Idol (Finalist). She’s also been featured regularly on BBC Radio, CBC Radio including guest interviews on Fresh Air & Big City Small World, The Drew Marshall Show, Snap’d Magazine, BID Magazine, allnaturalmusic.com, and more. Since moving to Toronto in her 2001, she’s been a regular part of the TD Toronto Jazz Festival, Oakville Jazz Festival, Newmarket Jazz Festival, Royal Botanical Gardens Summer Concert Series, and the International Beaches Jazz Festival.

Annie has also been teaching singing lessons for over 20 years and continues to maintain a private studio. She’s a member of ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers), Socan (The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada), NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International), and currently resides in Toronto Canada.  She is also a Godin Guitar artist.

Bob Hoot is a singer/songwriter living in the Ann Arbor, MI area. Hoot moved from Madison WI in January 2024. Hoot is now booking solo shows in the Ann Arbor and Detroit areas and several reunion shows with HOOT and Hollers in Wisconsin. 

HOOT and Hollers has released two albums of original songs: Matters of the Heart and Other Trouble, and 100% Smooth & Blended. In 2021, Tent Show Troubadours/HOOT and Hollers released an album of covers aptly titled Cover Letters.
