With a name like Sally Haze you might think this Chicago act was a solo artist, but it’s actually the project of trans-continental couple, Jess and Will Wright; the name is a sly literary reference. Jess, born and raised in Chicago, and Will, born in Leeds, England began writing and recording as Sally Haze in their home studio in 2019. What resulted was their own unique brand of Bedroom Post-punk, rhythm-heavy yet ethereal, without straying too far from their DIY roots.
