"Distill Me" is a conversation with myself, or maybe with something else entirely. It’s about feeling lost in my own mind, trying to make sense of my thoughts while also wanting to escape them. This song is about the struggle of learning to accept the parts of yourself you once tried to suppress. But beyond that, it speaks to anyone who’s ever felt at odds with their own identity, questioning who they are and whether they can ever be truly at peace with themselves. Distill Me is about stripping everything down to something pure, even when you’re not sure who that "real" version of yourself actually is.
