The original Parousia hailed from Western New York in the late 70's and blazed a trail of progressive pop rock well into the 80's.  From the 7 member rock show to the scaled down 4 piece group, Parousia was known for their over the top theatrics and experimental blending of multimedia, art and music.  Covering anything from progressive to punk and everything in between, the range of dynamic personalities in the band resulted in music that was difficult to define.  Parousia refused to be pigeon-holed into any particular brand of rock.
