Alright. This is probably a long one. Apologies. I'm checking in. I looked through a few friends' profiles, and I saw some activity, which is great. But I can't check everyone - in complete honesty, the "stream" is an inoperable clutter for me anymore.  So I'm going a bit more direct. 

Currently, we're all good on my end. All healthy. I don't know if you all are like me, but this "social distancing" isn't anything for me at all. Avoiding going out and interacting with people is kind of my primary mode of operation at all times, and I absolutely never get bored. I'm not going to paint you with the same brush, but seriously, musicians are more or less all about self-entertainment, right?

I know everyone probably has a bajillion things going on, and I don't expect to get any messages per se - if you see this, just know that I hope you all are safe and well, and as little as it may mean, you're in my thoughts. (just because it's a corny and ineffective statement doesn't decrease its truth!) I have a tendency to be a bit pessimistic, but the thing that keeps coming back to me is how much more difficult this whole thing would have been - from a technology standpoint - even 10 years ago. That's kind of amazing. 

One major change I have personally noticed, in having a house full of family at all times, is that it's a bit challenging to holler at a microphone. Got Legos clicking and falling in the background, youtube videos, laundry, dishes, etc. So I've primarily been working on mixing and editing stuff I already had recorded. 

In this area, you guys are already a little ahead of the curve. I wrote a new story, and it goes along with not only several albums, but also with several different projects. (Comic friends: it's a crossover!!) It's called Time Machine Chronicles, and it's looking like it'll be about 12 story sections, in varying lengths. You have already heard at least two, but I'm bandcamping the rest as I get them tidied and trimmed up.

I have been working also on new tunes for Letterpress Mighty with Micah, and new tunes for Ruphord with Austin. Funny enough, I had been considering starting to play shows again - that's not happening for a while! We'll just wait it out, and see what happens!
