Freeform Bass Music

Michigan based artist Mayple, aka Jaemes Chouinard, has quickly become a known name in the freeform bass community. His ability to create lush atmospheres while still delivering hard hitting basses and frequency bending subs is what elevates his project to the next level. He takes inspiration from a multitude of artists spanning genres of 140 and halftime to create his own style of bass.

For the last few years he has had releases with labels like Aspire Higher, Hemi.Wav, No Hype Music, and Make Wavs, and is quickly gaining support from numerous larger artists. He has played direct support for heavy-hitters Saturna, Artifakts, ATYYA, Thought Process, Potions and more, and has played festivals from Michigan to Colorado. With a handful of EP's, and numerous originals, flips, and bootlegs already released, it's safe to say that Mayple is the one to watch.
