Hard to believe it’s been 3 years since Jungle Fire first graced the RNT Catalog, and now the west coast boys of summer are back with a 5-track remix EP of varied Latin soul funk vibes, reimagined by a stellar cast of remixers.

On the A-side, Colombian juggernaut Felipe Gordon takes Atómico fully nuclear with a stomping bass-heavy house remix, and JKriv goes elektrik with his Elektrikossa dub that sprinkles dubbed out and acid elements over a pulsating rubbery groove.

On the flip, turntablist Nu-Mark delivers a punchy breakbeat take on Atómico, Jungle Fire member Patrick Bailey goes full-on boogie vibes with his Snake In Da Bronx Dub of La Kossa, and the record winds down with the dubby halftime flavor of Samual Miles remix of Biri Biri. Whether in the open-air club, block party or rooftop, this record is the sound of summer 2021!

On 24th September 2021, deluxe New York singer-songwriter Kelli Sae releases her third bold and beautiful single for Reel People Music, Right Now. The record is set to deliver chaos to global dancefloors with it’s inspiring blend of Latin Jazz and House.

Right Now is produced by Martin ‘Atjazz’ Iveson, who spent months crafting the music to truly complement Sae's impeccable vocals. Atjazz also brought in sought after Canadian horn arranger and trumpet master Octavio N. Santos to deliver that infectious swinging brass.

Kelli Sae’s story has it all. An internationally acclaimed artist, she previously shone as lead vocalist for renowned jazz-funk collectives Incognito, Count Basic and Defunkt, and worked with Tina Turner, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Ashford & Simpson and Me’shell Ndegéocello among others. Born of Puerto Rican, African and French descent, Sae has soulful eclecticism in her blood. The exciting mix of sounds, cultures and influences across her three, independently released solo albums is testament to this, as well as her respected forays into composing, playwrighting and stage performance. 

With its irresistibly feelgood summer vibe, Right Now is sure to fire Sae's reputation even higher and deliver another key career milestone.

This will be a limited edition release of 500 2xLP on 180g-heavyweight vinyl.

This whole double album was conceived from the beginning as a way to raise both
money and awareness for Gilles Peterson's Steve Reid Foundation.
Orchestrated by Nick Woodmansey/Emanative, but not without the generosity, help and contribution of every musician and collaborator involved.
 
All of the effort and countless hours invested by all; from the musical, recording and mastering to the organisational and administrative; including the record's art and design, have been given with the sole intention of flowing towards this cause - in the knowledge that all proceeds are going to The Steve Reid Foundation.

Kleiner Background zum Konzept und der Namensgebung: 

Man kann sich diese EP wie eine Zeitkapsel vorstellen. Einen Behälter, in den man verschiedene Sachen und Dinge jener Zeit für die Nachwelt aufbewahrt. 
Das bedeutet praktisch: Man wird keinen musikalischen berühmten roten Faden finden, kein musikalisches Konzept. 
Es ist vielmehr eine Kompilation verschiedener Genres. 
Ich möchte mir zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt keinen Rahmen aufzwängen, in dem ich kreativ sein darf. Vielleicht ändert sich das mit der Zeit und meine Arbeiten sind als Gesamtwerk stimmiger. Aber aktuell ist es für mich das Natürlichste viele verschiedene Bereiche abzudecken und das auch öffentlich zu zeigen.

Lily White, a track taken from the critically acclaimed debut album by Nimbus Sextet, is remixed by Ghostchant. Ghostchant, a natural instrumentalist who channels the line between hip-hop, RnB and Soul and whose previous collaborations include Four Tet, Submotion Orchestra and Gold Panda. 

His talent is obvious as he wonderfully manipulates Anthony Thomaz’ vocal whilst also managing to capturing a lot of the original versions tone and colour. Slowing the tempo somewhat shreds a new hazy light into the track adding a down-beat texture to the previously episodic arrangement.
