A budding Roots Reggae Record label from long time selector Jerry Perilous (originally a founder member of Solution Sound London, Perilous has also played with Rebel Lion Sound, Tighten Up, Sofrito, Reggae Roast, Roots FM London to name a few). Heavily influenced by the old masters of Jamaican Roots aswell as UK  soundsystem culture, we aim to present real music with a modern twist built with selectors in mind and a raw bassline to make you
wind and grind!

Channel One Sound System are one of the world's best known dub reggae sound systems.  Running for over 40 years, Channel One built up their reputation as one of the main sound systems at Notting Hill Carnival, now they play out every weekend all over the UK and Europe.

Channel One is made up of selector Mikey Dread playing roots reggae and consious steppas, the sound is completed by MC Ras Kayleb.

2010 Channel One Sound System won the Red Bull Culture Clash against Skream + Benga, Goldie's Metalheadz and Souljazz records.

2011 Channel One are about to go on a national tour, funded by the Arts Council, Dub to Jungle..  playing with Congo Natty and Tenor Fly.  Showing the lineage from reggae to jungle.

Hailed as "Brighton's Lee Scratch Perry” (Rob Da Bank BBC Radio 1), longtime reggae-dub producer Richie Phoe has been releasing tracks since 2006 and was an early adopter with Balanced, releasing his first track in 2008.
Richie has collaborated and remixed many notable artists along the way including Max Sedgley, Jon Kennedy, Tippa Irie, Earl 16, Sola Rosa, Wah Wah 45s, Horseman, Solo Banton and others. He has received massive radio play from David Rodigan, Don Letts, Daddy G (Massive Attack), Huey Morgan, Nick Manasseh, Jon Jones, Rob Da Bank (BBC Radio 1), Steve Lamacq (BBC 6 Music) and Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 2). He is an occasional guest on the Roots Garden Radio Show and has DJ'ed at festivals such as Bestival and Port Elliot, and regularly plays on the Roots Garden Sound System.
His debut full length, Echo Outernational (2012) stands out as a testament to modern reggae by combining digital, soulful and conscious styles into his signature productions. It features the acclaimed Eye on the Prize with Tippa Irie and Bumpy's Lament, which has seen multiple 7” re-issues and is approaching 3 million plays on Spotify. The track, Two Tree Island has since been featured on the Handmaid’s Tale TV series, and other tracks were paired with MTV's Dirty Sanchez show.
The 2020 release “Baby I Love You So”', covering legendary artist Jacob Miller, received huge acclaim as Daddy G of Massive Attack signalled "If you’re going to cover one of my favourite records, it better be fucking good. 'Baby I Love You So' is a stone cold classic, and this cover is bloody good, executed in fine style"

We cultivate soundsystem culture since 2011. We bring the idea and the heritage of soundsystem music through different tempos, genres and areas. From roots reggae to the front edges of bass music with a dub inna di heart. From dances in clubs, venues and abandoned factories to the famous Dub Raw camp, which annually gathers prominent representatives of the Russian independent bass scene and bass lovers from all over the country. We see our mission in representing our scene to the world and in sharing our passion for music. In the name of peace, love and unity.
