The Sunken Sea are an art rock band from Melbourne.
Led by the turbulent lyrics and baritone vocals of songwriter Dougal James, they forge syrupy harmonies and intricate rhythms that evolve in unexpected ways.

Cian Bennet is a 25 year old Melbourne-based artist, whose work is best described as melancholic ballads with folk-rock and indie-pop influences. Growing up in a family of musicians, Cian was immersed in a variety of different styles of playing and performing. These influences all come to a head in his new EP which is due to be released later this year. 

Playing in local Melbourne art rock band ‘The Sunken Sea’ (vocals, trumpet, synth) Cian has been able to hone his performing skills over the last 6 years, creating a deep connection to the Melbourne music scene. Years of co-writing, experimenting and performing has allowed Cian to form a unique and evocative lyrical style and sound.

Young Australian composer and multi-instrumentalist Agnes bridges her love of strings, voice and piano in her pieces. Merging her adoration of filmic, ambient and neo-classical genres of music, Agnes delicately constructs her works with lightness and simplicity, yet also with great depth.
Her debut EP ‘Reframe’ (2019) was composed after being commissioned for the podcast ‘Live Awake.’ She then released them as her own short series of instrumental works, with the intention of encouraging her listeners to view the world with a fresh pair of eyes, as well as with a heart wide open.
