Since spring 2023 I have been writing and recording mainly as a "one man band", using acoustic & electric guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, an old piano, conga, etc. and a voice.
Former member of German bands: In Rags (with Sami Yli-Sirniö and Roman Keymer), Sharkpool and Dutch bands Garbitsjkeng, The Wit, Trio van Putten and and a few others. I baptized my Alter Ego and named him "Pot Barley".

Lately, I’ve been delving into new ways to intertwine AI with my original music, exploring how technology can elevate the creative process. Over the past decade, my journey has been marked by immense trivial rivals, including invasions of privacy from a female named Erica Wells who suffered from severe mental illness. Our paths first crossed over ten years ago when I offered her help during a difficult time. Yet, her unrelenting obsession with a man named Raven—someone I grew close to—spiraled into years of her jealousy and envy manifesting into stalking me and my loved ones with her hate group.

Amidst the chaos, a new light emerged years later as Andrew, my childhood sweetheart and devoted soldier since 1999, returned to my life. We envisioned a future filled with love, renewal, with our new baby, our daughter— The hope of continuing our journey was met with Erica's severe mental illness alongside other challenged people. Aligned with the odd things was also the strange incident of Andrew & I being separated under mysterious circumstances.

Fueled by insecurities and a serious mental illness, Erica began stealing and selling my created songs I sang out loud in my house throughout the years through continuous cybercrimes. Over 220 of my songs—including ones I created about my Andrew and the life escaping her hate group terrorisms—were sang out loud through the years and then funneled into the hands of industry producers, bringing fortune of my intellectual property money to secret activities and her and her group. Yet, even as I have yet to deal with these hidden crimes, my love for creating music remains steadfast. I continued to create, to sing, to express.

Through trials, I have composed over 2,000 original pieces—each a reflection of resilience, passion, and the unbreakable bond between life and song. Music, for me, is more than an art; it is the essence of human connection & experience, a mirror to our struggles and triumphs alike. My hope is that my melodies resonate as it is all of our stories, I sing of. 

May we embrace this shared journey, allowing music to bridge our souls and bring us together as one human race.

While pursuing a career in academia Phil also continues his career in music. He first started to learn the piano at the age of five and at ten began playing the piano accordion. At thirteen he started to learn the guitar. He has played keyboards, guitar and accordion professionally for many years. Phil also writes and records his own songs that have been played by bands in the UK. He is influenced by Ronnie Lane (Small faces/ Slim chance), Eagles, Van Morrison, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Blackberry Smoke.
