This is the first tune that I have co-written with my husband of 40 years, David McCrory. He has written lyrics and threatened to sing them too but he doesn't know that he can't sing well and I'll make do with this instrumental for now. It's a very pretty, heart-felt  ballad

This is the theme of my character Nix, and it's been in the works for a long time. It's not so much that I've been busy as I've just been really aimless, which I think is part of why I felt like making something so far outside my usual range. I hope to have more projects big and small ready to share soon.

Seven for a Secret (not to be told) was inspired by the traditional children's nursery rhyme One for Sorrow. The nursery rhyme is based on an old superstition, which states that the number of magpies one sees determines if one will have bad luck or good luck. 

A common version of the rhyme is the following one:

One for sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy,
Five for silver,
Six for gold,
Seven for a secret,
not to be told.
Eight for Heaven, 
Nine for Hell,
Ten for the devil's own sell.
