We're honored to announce that our good friend Sam Hawkens (@saku) of fellow label Kiosek Records (@kiosek-records), has invited RUNE Recordings for a one-hour showcase on Breakbeat Conference  Radio 1 FM in Prague.

RUNE Recordings — "We Stand With Ukraine" Mix @ Breakbeat Conference, Radio1 (CZ) • March 6, 2022

The one and only Marco Bailey is back on Phobiq with a threefold attack, covering all bases and flavors. Starting off with "Funky Feet", we are introduced to a steamrolling groove with tons of percussion-based action alongside busy snares and a stomping kick. The aptly-titled "The Black Stallion" takes over from there with a galloping bassline and sneaky shakers and hats. Some very tasty dark stabs come in to play alongside gurgling fx and the stallion is literally on the loose. On "The White Stallion", on the other hand, things are more straightforward with pulsating bass and streamlined synths putting together a tense atmosphere; all of which Mikael Jonasson completely flips around, adding otherworldly pads and phrases made of vocal edits, on his own rendition.

If you want to know how this will sound, remixed by one of techno´s most sought-after producers of our time, we suggest you to get one of the 1000 vinyl copies of this release. For several obvious reasons, CLR 051 is an extraordinary record and already a collector´s item.

He now records exclusively for Lowering The Tone and is currently working on his fourth artist album, he still hosts Lowering The Tone podcast & also co-hosts ‘Setting The Tone’ (Podcast) with Ben Coda.
