Left/Right presents his debut full-length album: ‘Big Rave Energy,’ a multi-genre journey through underground music and rave culture. In signature Left/Right style, the record features a spectrum of moods and emotions from euphoric (Big Rave Energy) to fierce (Put Down The Gun) to moody (The Way) and back. It also marks the 10th release on his newly-minted art & event brand CONDUIT. Dive in.

Message from the artist: 
'Big Rave Energy' was born out of a difficult period in my life starting with the pandemic: my studio was shut down, labels crumbled, I lost much of my team, and moved to a new city. It was a difficult evolution for me personally but through all of this my focus came back to what I really love about music and rave culture - a sense of wonder, power, and connection. In the album art, the symbol of the man ascending is based on that feeling: something that takes us out of our daily lives, something transcendent and supernatural.

The only personal comment I have about this set is that it was too short!

RUNE109: Andrey Sirotkin — «Sorry For You» — a debut single of the Kiev-based producer on RUNE Recordings. Andrey has earned recognition in the Drum'n'Bass genre under the 'I Wannabe' moniker. Eventually he signed his first breakbeat-track «Sorry For You» on the first Ukrainian label in the genre.

We are sincerely glad to welcome Andrey on board with his dark intense sound, as breakbeat should be. Enjoy!

As a DJ, Mark has compiled and mixed compilations for Bedrock Breaks, Fabric Live (21) & ‘Sessions Vol 8.1' for Ministry of Sound.

Released Music on R&S, Kingsize, Bedrock, Yoshitoshi, Mo Wax, Toolroom, Global Underground, SAW recordings, to name but a few.

Remixed such artists as James Zabiela, D-Nox & Beckers, Deep Dish, Lee Coombs, Stephane K, Phil Kieran, U.N.K.L.E 

He has run (as a label manager/A+R & recording artist) the highly influential LOT49 & Whole 9 Yards (W9Y) imprints.

In June 2013 Mark started a Podcast series ‘Lowering The Tone’ which in 2016 morphed into a Progressive Techno Label.

He now records exclusively for Lowering The Tone and is currently working on his fourth artist album, he still hosts Lowering The Tone podcast & also co-hosts ‘Setting The Tone’ (Podcast) with Ben Coda.
