Los Angeles-based Inhalt assemble a strikingly unique selection of 10 producers across generations, styles and musical backgrounds, to remix and simulate Inhalt’s 2018 Commerce EP.

On a backdrop of EBM, techno, electro, industrial and more, these new remixes vigorously intensify Inhalt’s examination of neo-liberal capitalism and identity. Through this process, a new alluring narrative of the tensions of 2020 is born.

The digital release of Simulation includes 19 tracks: originals, instrumentals, vinyl remixes and digital-only bonus remixes by Kontravoid and Liebknecht aka. Daniel Myer.

Sono ormai da quasi tre anni che si sente parlare tra gli addetti ai lavori di Up North Records, un'etichetta indipendente fondata da LBEEZE. Specializzata in Electronic Body Music, Post-Punk, Techno, Experimental, Live cut e persino Hip-Hop. 
Dall’altra parte dell’emisfero e in particolare da Melbourne, sia la label che il suo boss si sono fatti largo nella scena, con le compilation Crime Violente la prima , e incidendo il suo nome su label molto importanti il secondo.
"Northern nightmares Vol.1". rappresenta la sesta uscita della label, su cassetta, e si concentra sul lato oscuro della musica dance. Undici artisti internazionali contribuiscono con il loro talento a consolidare quello che è stato il lavoro di ricerca della label in questi anni.
Troviamo all’interno lo stesso LBEEZE, Autumns, Santiago, Hate Magnum Opus e anche il nostro resident Asymmetrical con la sua Broken Teeth.

In anteprima vi proponiamo qui l’ascolto di “New Horizon”, del venezuelano di nascita ma ormai in pianta stabile a Barcellona, Cardopusher. Proprietario della label Classicworks , dal 2006 ha legato il suo nome e la sua musica a etichette molto importanti come Boysnoize Records, Super Rhythm Trax ,  Dark Entries, Mechatronica , Mosaique e di recente ha firmato un remix di Security DJ per l’italiana Raw Culture.

Il suo sound inconfondibile si riconferma anche in questo VA, in cui 707 dritte, poi spezzate , poi di nuovo dritte viaggiano su una bassline ipnotica, tra atmosfere frenetiche.

Industrial Possession will be in charge of publishing this new work called “Nude” in K7 and digital format at the end of July. An LP made up of eight forceful cuts that will delight EBM fans, and that will be accompanied in its digital version by a remix of Rise Black, one of the components of the label.

“Warrior Two” is a solo EP by the pro of music industry - artist Bert Libert aka B1980, who’s known widely as the drummer of the Belgian indie rock band Goose. 

The title track of the release throws the listener back to the spirit of the synthesizer assault of the old EBM school, while simultaneously taking the best drum moves of the electro-techno genre into the audio path.  This is the real hurricane and a burst of energy recorded with the minimalistic set of instruments.  The biting snare, filigree noise clap, analog napalm of the main synth riff and FM bass characteristic of early EBM combined with the straight kick - all that makes that EP a dangerous secret weapon inside any DJ set.
