I like this.. Gorgeously unusual sounds and drum groove

Bass is great! Made me chuckle.. Like it didn't take itself seriously

I love the playfulness of this track, some great sounds and it all works so well together

Day 22! I started of experimenting with the scale button in MIDI clips in Ableton by randomly bashing the keyboard and then placing notes after into the melodic minor scale notes and putting a log drum preset form the Korg Triton VST to spit those out, that doesn't come into until the end, ah I don't know, sorta worked. Then grabbed some loops I'd made from random thrift store vinyl finds that seemed to fit and this came out the other side. Oh yeah then added the bass line using Korgs Triton VST and played the simple synth thing on Push 2 using the Electra2 VST. Didn't have much time left after all the experimenting for a great arrangement but don't think it turned out toooo bad.

It's not every day that we have the opportunity to see a pastor put the strap of her rifle on her shoulder after celebrating mass. Siv Limstrand acts also as a psychologist to help people through existential crises, which the climate of uncertainty currently hanging over the future of the archipelago of Svalbard contributes to making deeper. People decide to settle in this distant moor to escape their inner monsters, forgetting that the most uncomfortable truths rise to the surface more powerfully than ever before in front of these endless expanses of ice.

SVALBARD UTOPI / PRIEST WITH RIFFLE

Whether or not the Norsemen discovered the barren Arctic archipelago of Svalbard in the Viking Age remains a rather debated matter nowadays. Theoretically, given their in-depth knowledge, the Norsemen were able to reach the frozen land. According to some Old Norse annals from Iceland, Svalbard was supposedly discovered after a 4-day voyage east of Iceland in 1194. However, it is quite improbable that they founded a temporary (let alone permanent) settlement somewhere in the archipelago in the process, primarily given the lack of archaeological resources.

Day 27. Simple today. The sounds are from an elevator beeping as the doors open, and from my water bottle. Background is a sheet of plastic in the wind and birds in the backgarden. The title comes from Bruce Lee.

Day 28 Back To 80s

One of the most tenacious birds in Svalbard, Arctic Terns are very territorial and will attack anything or anyone that gets too close. Known as the ‘sea swallow’, they’re easily identified by their black cap on their otherwise white bodies. They travel hundreds of thousands of miles each year.
