I am only 
half a world
my orbit
limps
in a lay-by
turning over time
while the galaxies play
no space
for half
an orb

without
you
no stars
to pull me close
no moons
circling
infatuated
by our love
and no
total
eclipse
to fill the view

without you
my universe
is not born
not even
a black hole
to sink or swim
just half
a whole

and i
dreaming
of dancing
just half a step
away from our tango
