Robot? Human? What was I?
I borrowed 'What was I' this concept from the same name exhibition.  Imagine a world without human, only left a robot on the earth. What would Mr/Mrs. Robot do? Will he/she turn on the light and stare at the night sky as we do?
 Close your eyes and wander in the future.

A Day

The concept of this music is derived from Franz Kafka's novel Metamorphosis which fused the element of realism. This music is about the perspective and feelings of the inner self changed according to reality. Specifically, after the self changes in appearance, the way of perception to the external real-world changes correspondently. Ultimately, the self turns out to be imperceptible.

The sound sample comes from the human voice (composer recorded), using the vocoder and granulator effect to process the original voice, finally forming a grainy sound. This processed sound is presented at the beginning of the piece which represents the beginning of life's struggle and plight. Meanwhile, recognizable vocal materials are also used in this work which applied the pitch shifting and time stretching. Combining with unclear environmental sound and percussive sound, intended to depict the imperceptible state of the self gradually blending into space.
