Industry Insider announces major content partnership

Fresh from a hectic few days at BigSound 2013, music-oriented outlet Industry Insider has announced a major content partnership with global online video distributors Base79, to increase global exposure of II's industry-focused content. Base79 currently generates over 700 million views per month across 1400 YouTube channels, with proven experience in brand-building, safeguarding intellectual property and generating wide exposure for its content. This new partnership will allow Industry Insider to build a new audience for its already engaging content.
Founded in 2011, Industry Insider offers something different in the crowded field of music journalism: its interviews and podcasts offer a candid glimpse of the personalities that make the industry tick, from major promoters and headline acts through to drivers and stagehands.
Founded in 2007, Base79 are pioneers in online video, rights management and creating audiences for video content. They have offices in London, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, LA and Sydney, with further expansion planned in 2013. Their global reach, combined with Industry Insider’s unique content, is a perfect match.
Ben Pitcher is the face (and the hat) of Industry Insider. With over 13 years’ experience in TV, radio and online presenting, he is a seasoned professional who is adept at finding the hidden angle, at turning his interviewees’ professional experiences into an engaging, relatable narrative. 2013 has been a big year for both Pitcher and Industry Insider. In addition to BigSound, Pitcher has covered festivals and major music events such as Glastonbury and Fuji Rock.
