Divine Passion

Electronic music producer from the west of France who mainly makes Drum & Bass. DarKYYComet is attracted by future and experimental breaks but tends to say his music is the link between old, mid and new school, blends underground with mainstream musical genres to give his sound a unique approach. He's been producing for about four years now and listening to D&B since the age of 19 years old, released his first two tracks on Nu Venture Records in 2021 and now very excited to release for 2023-2025 on PZYCCO Recs., Vahana Records, Subplate Recordings, Stoic Music, C Recordings, Riot Records, Interstellar Audio, Influenza Media and Outer Edge Audio. She will sing it, rhyme it, speak it! Sofi Mari is an artist who has been professionally performing since about 2003 & has been involved in the drum & Bass/Jungle scene since 2008. Born in the UK & raised in Miami, FL, this vocalist & lyricist originally utilised the moniker ‘Sopheye’ before moving to London & evolving into a more mature, & experienced, performer now known as ‘Sofi Mari’.

Over the years she's hosted many topline d&b DJ sets including the likes of: Goldie, Storm, Bailey, Jumping Jack Frost, Utah Jazz, B-Traits, Source Direct, Digital, Flight, Marky, Empress, AK1200, Random Movement, Stunna, Big Bud, Sweetpea, Spacefunk, Total Science, Chris Inperspective, Equinox + more! Her sheer ambition & love of drum & bass enabled her to come in 2nd place as Best Female MC/Vocalist for the 2017 We Love Jungle Awards. She was nominated again the following year as Best Breakthrough Jungle MC for the same awards ceremony.

In 2019 Sofi Mari teamed up with producer & live Drummer ‘Septabeat’ fulfilling her dream of performing drum & bass live with an instrumentalist. This enabled her to be the first vocalist/MC to curate ‘Sun & Bass LIVE! Sessions’ 2019 at the renowned Sun & Bass festival in Sardinia, Italy. The event showcased a number of topline drum & bass vocalists supported by a live band at Ambra Day.

A band that brings the funk to d&b! In their music, they blend funky melodies and heavy basslines with live instruments, creating a vibey cocktail best served at dancefloors. Having established themselves on the scene with releases on labels such as Soul Deep or Liquid Boppers, they eventually found a home as part of legendary V Recordings family, cherry-picked by bossman Bryan Gee as one of the new-school aliases for Liquid V. Bryan himself supports their infectious sound in most of his sets & podcasts, but you can also hear their tunes rinsed in sets of upfront DJs like Marky, Jumpin’ Jack Frost, Rene LaVice, Command Strange, BCee etc.
They perform as a DJ act accompanied by horns (sax+trumpet) and usually don’t stay within just liquid funk but go for a blend of all funky subgenres of dnb. At times, they even stretch their musical wings outside the dnb realm, blending a myriad of musical influences that all drum and bass aficionados and connoisseurs of fine music can appreciate, as they remain moving on the dancefloor during their sets.

Etharix, is a DJ + Sonic Storyteller who specializes in Underground Atmospheric, Ambient, and Deep Rolling Liquid Drum & Bass. Blending hypnotic rhythms, lush pads, and fluid melodies, Etharix crafts immersive journeys that connect the listener to deeper emotional spaces. She delivers emotionally resonant journeys through Liquid Drum & Bass. With a passion for Liquid’s timeless beauty, her sets go beyond the music. Etharix creates each mix as an experience, weaving energy, emotion, vibe, liminal space, and flow into a seamless narrative. 

Active in the electronic music scene since the late ’90s and behind the decks since 2023, her sound is a signature blend of lush atmospheres, ambient textures, and deep rolling basslines — described by listeners as “Sensual Liquid” and “Bedroom Liquid.” Her mixes reflect a deep synesthetic connection to music, where sound evokes color, motion, and emotion, resulting in sets that feel immersive, intentional, and alive. Each track is carefully selected and each mix is methodically and meticulously organised to resonate with the listener, guiding them through fluid, storytelling soundscapes.

Following the release of her debut mix, Liquid Summer, Vol. 01 in 2024, Etharix was invited to play her first private set and her first public set, including a private quarterly event, The Loop Party, hosted by 2 of their very own NCDNB community members who also happen to be DJs and the Founders of Deli Fresh Music, and her Liquid Continuum set, respectively. Liquid Continuum was her debut at Sub Rosa for her birthday in April 2025. She also hosts a monthly international radio show, Liquid Daybreak on Subtle Radio, airing on the third Monday of the month on subtleradio.com. She’s also contributed guest mixes with FlowCast Drum & Bass on their YouTube Channel and with DJ Halo on his Radio Show, Eminent Domaine, which aired on Hale. London Radio. Etharix continues to develop her own mix series, including the recently released, Liquid Summer, Vol. 02. There is more to come from her in the near future.

Outside the booth, Etharix is the Founder of Sub Low Triangle, a digital promotion brand dedicated to uplifting the Electronic Music scene across the Triangle area of NC and beyond. Known for her passion-driven support, she promotes events and connects people, such as artists, venues, and community members alike. She does so purely out of her love for the community. For many in the community, she has been referred to as “Queen,” a title earned through her obvious aesthetic presence as well as her tireless commitment to inclusivity, connection, and collective vibe.

Whether broadcasting across time zones or in her home studio creating her own mixes, Etharix moves with intention: to make the listener feel through the resonance of sound, and to help them find and connect with their people through music.
