Hailing from Suffolk, Conrad Subs - real name Adam Krolik - has been progressively building his reputation with releases on labels including Ten Ton, Deep In The Jungle, Original Key, Sub Heavy Audio and Nuusic. After featuring on our last two compilations  (5 Years of Soulvent and Winter Soul 2019), we’re pleased to announce the debut EP from the man himself.

Opener DIY Soul kicks things off with a fairly sparse intro; fuzzy pads and filtered drums give way to serious bass and a tasteful click-break. The varied percussion on display gives the track a versatile flavour and definitely aligns with its tongue-in-cheek title. 

On You opens on some super catchy vocals, while the steppy groove lays down nothing but funk. The wide synths and punchy percussive elements throughout create a hypnotic quality that is a welcome element to the EP. 

Title track In Heaven is nothing short of angelic, blissful liquid. Bouncy pads, effect laden vocals and raspy drums collide with thrumming bass and swelling, dreamlike bursts of atmosphere in lush duality. 

Awareness rounds out this well balanced EP with a very minimal affair, complete with a sense of dystopian future thanks to the eerie vocal sample and foreboding intro. Lurching bass and seemingly screaming synths meet under the light of tight percussion, resulting in a dark, subby roller that will definitely conjure bass faces.

Pseudonym is a seasoned veteran when it comes to Drum & Bass, having been round the scene for a number of years and building his own signature sound through production, he’s managed to gain the backing of some huge artists such as Data 3, Pola & Bryson, SL8R and more, all the while managing to start a family in the process. Sporting a healthy number of releases on a variety of labels, we’re pleased to have this don representing us, so for the last track of the first volume of our 24/7 series, here is, Chonk.

Bristol-based newcomer KØDE-1 steps up the pace yet again with a new release on one of the Drum & Bass scene's top hotspots for the best in new talent: Oscity. The imprint are always breaking fresh, new talent and that trend continues here on 'Pipeline', which sees KØDE-1 link up with another exciting talent (and this time on a vocal tip): Banditt. Both are heavily involved in startup label Draconian Audio, the former as an artist and the latter as co-founder, and we're really excited by what all parties are bringing to the table at the moment. Originating from São Paulo Brazil, Dunk is one-half of world-renowned Jam Thieves. With a string of recent releases on many of the scenes most prominent labels, Dunk is exploring the new direction and freedom of expression this solo work allows.

For ‘Circle’ he is joined by Objectiv, another artist making their Dispatch Limited debut. The resulting track is a journey into the darkest recesses of synthesizer design and a deconstructed funk break, pushed to the limits. 

‘The Hippie’ is Dunk’s own take on the minimal Dispatch Limited sound – progressive and building from the off, layered with that unique flavour Dunk has become known for. 

Two solid tracks mark a welcome to Dispatch Limited for this rising talent.
