Kane aka Alkali, is a 25 year old DJ & producer from Cardiff, Wales. He’s been producing just over 3 years and enjoys creating a number of genres ranging from Hip Hop to Breaks, but he predominately makes tracks on the more liquid/soulful side of drum & bass.

Initially getting into dnb through the Drum & Bass Arena Anthems album and being inspired by seeing Pendulum at his first live concert, he delved deeper into the sound and came across labels and pages such as Hospital, Fokuz & Liquiddnbftw which led to him falling in love with the liquid sound.

Alkali took up 121 tuition with Monty & Nectax over lockdown. This has helped his technical skills progress and helped him find his sound and recently earning him his first label release with Glitch Audio.

‘I Will Be Here’ encapsulates what Alkali loves about liquid, deep chords, ethereal vocals and rolling drums. With influences for the track ranging from Tokyo Prose to Burial.
