Recorded at Play Deep Studios in October 2022, the house music banger Push is the second of four session releases from Canadian dance diva Melleefresh and UK house producer Hectic.

Sexy and trippy, Push takes much of its musical influence from mid-90s EDM, specifically its use of the TR-909.

Push follows in the footsteps of Snap It, the pair's previous release from this session, and Todos, the track that began their collaborative efforts.

UK producer Hectic returns to London's Play Deep Studios and is joined by Canadian electro queen Melleefresh to deliver this sexy dance banger that defies all genres.

"I was looking to make a trap house track with a bit more of a club vibe to it," explains Hectic. "Experimented with some strings sounds and then the brass and marching band elements came together."

With a little bit of house and a little bit of techno, Squeeze Me is a fierce and emotional, if somewhat unusual, work of dance music.

A.D.I.D.A.S., Remixed is the second of eight remix packs off house producer Kardano's 2022 album Art of Tones, with breathy vocals from collaborator Melleefresh.

Kicking off the pack is Melleefresh's own bouncy house remix, followed by an equally upbeat house remix from the UAE's DJ Gangster. South Korea's Deep Rooted Tree gives the work a laid-back vibe on his hiphop/trap remix. Canadian producer KuntyBeatz picks it back up with pumping energy to his dance remix. UK producer Hectic breaks the mold with an eclectic underground dance remix, while Scottish producer Hotknife adds a funky retro vibe on his jackin' house remix. And Italy's Feed closes out the collection with a piano-driven indie dance remix.

Melleefresh has been an avant-garde performer and producer in the Canadian arts scene for nearly 30 years. She is currently the President of @PlayRecords (US/UK).

Among the many artists with whom Melleefresh has collaborated through Play Records are Dirty 30 aka Alixander lll, Billy Newton-Davis, Calvertron, Hoxton Whores, 40oz Profits, Gettoblaster, Jerome Robbins, MC Flipside, Boy Pussy and SpekrFreks.

In 2004, Melleefresh was looking for artists to remix a Carole Pope album and was introduced to a young DJ from Niagara Falls using the moniker deadmau5. Signing him to Play Records, Melleefresh and deadmau5 collaborated on many tracks in the label's repertoire, including the 2008 Juno Award-nominated After Hours.

Most recently, Melleefresh opened Play Deep with Zach Brown-Smith (DJ Spydabrown). Located in London's posh King's Cross neighbourhood, Play Deep is a 3-storey, 3-room state-of-the-art recording studio that has served as a recording venue for The Spice Girls, the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora, Wretch 32, Giggs, Emeli Sande, Canada's Keiza, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Popcaan, among others.

Hectic is a multi-genre producer from London, UK. Releases including ''The Play Deep Sessions" with Melleefresh, as well as a ton of remixes for an incredibly diverse range of artists, show off Hectic's unique style of production. He has also received radio play and support from DJs on BBC Radio 1Xtra, Kiss FM, XFM, Sub FM and Reprezent Radio. Hectic embraces new music technology and is always on the lookout for interesting pieces of kit to add to his studio.
