UYSR029 is the closing chapter of Remixes for Satori´s longplayer. Crussen from Norway kicks of with a pretty down beat mix of "Days Without You" which is pure fun for the morning hours. Amsterdam based Olaf Stuut instead did a driving mix of "The Wishing Spell" crossing borders between Techno and Electronica. Hraach from Spain put big emotions into his "Bad Looking Trouble" Remix - deep House with sensual strings. Last Mix is from Underyourskin Resident Thomas Atzmann who gave a very new danceable attitud to "The Greatest Against The World".

It’s Christmas! And for such a special occasion, we have a very special cocktail for you: "Jingle Berries”! This cocktail not only has a sensational name, it does also contain all the spirits you need for a spectacular holiday! It is super smooth but still energizing, it is festive but not corny. It’s just delicious, and it has been created just for the occasion.

Parallells, a duo consisting of two French brothers currently based in Amsterdam, delivers the musical ingredients to this beauty. The duo grew up in a jazzy and funky environment, playing both at the Jazz conservatory. Their set can be characterized by the mix of several genres with a spacey and melodic touch. 
 
Parallells continuously search for new and unusual sounds that they use and translate into music. One of their project called “A Day At” is a video series where tracks are played live using only the environment’s organic sounds and analogue music gears. 
With releases on Bar 25, Submarine Vibes, Crossings and Klassified Records, they co-founded Klassified and also run its label and the Klassified Music Festival. 
And yes if it’s sound familiar, you are right! We can officially declare December 2018 as a Klassified Month, since Parallells are taking over from Rammo Music, their Klassified founder-buddies. 

As a little Christmas surprise, we are happy to announce that Parallells just compiled the next volume of The Feathers Eyes including a track with RAMMÖ called “Les Terres de Tawa” - coming out January 21st on Klassified.

It comes with two remixes, each picking up one of the two prevailing moods of this title: Lukas Endhardt puts a focus on the dreamy aspects, creating an idyllic Downbeat version. Toni Haupt on the other hand aims at the dancefloor and accordingly provides a solid dose of boost and pressure. Then there's the programmatic title Constant Change that keeps morphing into ever new shapes and atmospheres, making it a very stimulating affair on all different levels of the production.

Für den ersten musikalischen Sonnenaufgang dieses Jahr habe ich einen Shooting-Star aus Kanada für euch eingeladen. Die Rede ist von der bezaubernden Niki Sadeki aus Vancouver. Es ist noch nicht mal 3 Jahre her da bin ich in der Wolke über einen Podcast von Deep House Tehran gestolpert und ich fand den Sound extrem faszinierend, eigenwillig und einzigartig. Und nun speilt Niki auf Festivals und Clubs rund um die Welt … wie erst im November auf Miras legendären Geburtstagssause im Kater.

Niki’s Sound ist einfach authentisch … ich glaube das ist es auch was mich an meisten daran fasziniert. Umso mehr freut es mich das sie 2019 den musikalischen Start für meine Reihe macht.

Decompress - An Afterglow

Sunrise set at Ignition Festival, Matamata, New Zealand

Recorded in the early hours of Friday morning, after the UV Masquerade Ball at the Funkhutt.

A Burning man - style event, Ignition was a 6- day festival nestled right up against the Kaimai mountain ranges in back country Matamata with nothing around for miles but all you beautiful people.

A fundraiser event for Funkhutt x Mint Country Club x Hijinxx held at the Funkhutt warehouse in Auckland, New Zealand.

It was awesome to open this party, a packed out warehouse rave to support three rad theme camps for next year's Kiwiburn (New Zealand's regional Burning Man event)

That warehouse was humming all night long, big ups to everyone that came down and supported these theme camps.

S_low & Mellowtact had the pleasure of playing together after a boat party in Raglan,  New Zealand & hit record for the first time as a duo. 
After a busy year working together putting on after hour chill raves, club nights & running chill zones at festivals throughout New Zealand, they have achieved their goal of awakening the NZ underground dance scene to the slower side of house and techno. 

In this mix recorded on a Monday morning from 4am - 6.30am you'll hear a mixture of Mellowtact's tribal/spiritual rollers along with his funked up slow disco blended in with S_low's slow tech tripped out chunk & trance inspired downtempo.
