Audiojack are the UK DJ duo behind some of the biggest house records of the last two decades. Debuting with the iconic Robot on Leftroom in 2006, Audiojack arrived on the scene to critical acclaim. They soon signed to Ralph Lawson’s 2020vision label, where they released several notable records including Get Serious, Motion Sickness, No Equal Sides, and their debut album Radio. 

After joining Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels in 2016, Audiojack had success with Turya, Reverie and Inside My Head topping charts, followed by second album Surface Tension: a conceptual story which features hit Feels Good, with Jem Cooke on vocals. Audiojack’s collabs with Kevin Knapp on vocals have produced many big records including Vibrate, Implications and Stay Glued, whilst other guest vocalists include LCD Soundsystem’s Nancy Whang, Eli & Fur and Polarbear. 

Audiojack also release on other labels such as Solid Grooves, DTFD, 8bit, Dirtybird, Shall Not Fade, Knee Deep in Sound, Hot Creations, and of course their Gruuv label. Audiojack’s remixes on labels like Diynamic and BPitch Control, and for artists such as Underworld, Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada and Hot Since 82 have proven their reliability as dancefloor focused hitmakers, while accolades include a nomination in DJ Mag’s Best of British awards and mixing the BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix.

After being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90's in Los Angeles, a teenage David Flores was hooked. He started DJing across Southern California on the DIY warehouse, backyard, desert, and rave circuit. His style then was as varied as the local scene - a myriad of sounds ranging from house to acid to techno to hardcore. After a few years solely DJing, he began releasing original music under the monikers David F & Audio Injection, which landed him on labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, 4 Track & LA label Droid Recordings. His association with Droid Behavior began in 2003 as resident at the now defunct yet infamous and internationally acclaimed Interface event series alongside Drumcell and Raiz. He currently runs a new event series together with Drumcell and Oktaform named “Observe”.

In early 2011, he started the project Truncate to focus on the deeper, raw side of techno. His Truncate releases early on gained critical acclaim from world class underground talent such as Modeselektor, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Eats Everything, Joris Voorn, and many more. Since then, he has provided remixes for artists across the musical spectrum including Kink, Slam, Loco Dice, Ben Sims, Josh Wink, Ellen Alien, Miss Kittin, Carl Cox & Nicole Moudaber. He has also released original works on 50 Weapons, Ultramajic, Blueprint, Ei8ht, Figure and of course his own imprint Truncate. He has also collaborated with Jimmy Edgar, Chambray and most recently started a new project with Ben Sims as ‘Assailants’ which they’ve released on their own imprint ‘Obscurity Is Infinite’.

A rigorous international tour schedule has since followed, including stops and regular appearances at the most prestigious venues and events, including Berghain in Berlin, Fabric in London, Concrete in Paris, The Movement Festival in Detroit, Womb in Tokyo, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, Awakenings in Amsterdam, Output in New York, and many more.

With his heavy remix, production and touring schedule there is still no slowing down for David. He continues to shape an evolving sound and to champion the Los Angeles underground.

Since she first opened a DAW, 29-year-old Piper Hewitt-Dudding, aka Dilemma, has seen support from all corners of drum and bass. She brings fresh musicality and versatile production with a unique tone. Her sound is instantly recognisable and with each new release she continues her upward curve in the scene.

Dilemma has released on labels ranging from Lifestyle Music all the way to Flight Pattern. Her journey started on Skankandbass’ free download series with ‘Binary/Circumspect’ - the latter track gained airtime on Friction’s BBC Radio One show and the release itself garnered support from the likes of Calibre, DLR, Mistanoize and many more. Since her debut, Dilemma has found herself most at home on Pola & Bryson’s Soulvent Records, having most recently released the four-track stunner Exit Stage Left, which saw support from LTJ Bukem, London Elektricity and S.P.Y among others. The title track saw a feature on bass music giant UKF’s YouTube channel, as well as its Spotify playlists - the track now has a combined 700,000 streams. 

A particular love for liquid and techy, rolling drum and bass is evident in Dilemma’s productions. However, she draws inspiration from an array of different genres ranging from grunge to hip hop, industrial to psychedelic rock. As a result, her productions have a rare and infectious musicality to them, seizing ideas from a diverse pool of genres into a new, drum and bass context. This, paired with an earthy tone and love of early 2000’s liquid, means Dilemma’s productions continue to surprise even the keenest listener.

Dilemma’s work has seen support from around the world as well as the UK, with her productions having airtime on BBC Radio 1, Bassdrive and Rough Tempo to name a few, as well as inclusions on the revered Drum&BassArena yearly compilations in both 2018 and 2019. With historical support from Random Movement, BCee, Skankandbass and Soulvent Records, the list of DJs rolling out Dilemma tracks in the rave is only getting bigger.

Pre-Covid, Dilemma was making moves in the Let It Roll and Hospitality circles, appearing on the main stage of the 2019 iteration of Hospitality on the Beach in Croatia, and Let It Roll’s sold out UK and Prague events. Alongside this, she made her sophomore appearance at the legendary fabric in early 2020 and was part of UKF’s 10-year celebrations in south east London’s Studio 338, later returning to its main stage for Hospitality BBQ.

The last year has seen Dilemma continuing on her Hospitality streak at Motion Bristol, Concorde 2 Brighton, Hospitality Weekend in the Woods, and the Albanian iteration of Hospitality on the Beach. She has also showcased her varied DJing style at Worried About Henry’s O2 Academy Leeds event, enjoyed a prime-time spot celebrating 20 Years of Critical Music at Motion, set the stage for Fabio & Grooverider at Chase & Status’ RTRNIIDNCE festival, and made her Netherlands debut at liquid giant Liquicity’s Springfestival.

With many more bookings on the way including a return to Liquicity in the summer, Dilemma is sure to continue her upward curve, with many respected eyes watching this budding artist.
