Creation for May ICS -- Recorded in 4 hours, guitars, stick, e-drums. The metronome bled through the tracks, it's not supposed to be there. >:-(  I'm no drummer, so the lack of drum skills will show. FWIW!!!

This piece is a story of two very different mornings. It was the "final exam" project for my ProTools class -- to assemble parts from Beatles "Benefit of Mr. Kite," "Good Morning," and "I Am The Walrus" along with parts recorded live in class with different tempos and keys into a piece of music. Enjoy!

Señor Blues

This song was the first fully completed song that I wrote at the age of ~18. Inspired by the lyric content and general emotional feel of Blue Öyster Cult's "Morning Final." Recorded on a Dokorder 1/4" reel-to-reel 4-track that I had acquired through a trade for a Fender Stratocaster, which opened up the ability to create fully realized song demos. Salvaged off of a nearly 40-year-old cassette, and sound quality will attest to that!
