Fresh from the release of Above on the 14th May, courtesy of UK artist Girls Of The Internet, scene heavyweights Fideles step up to provide a stunning remix of the original. Released next month on the recently-formed Palm Recs imprint the remix showcases the Italian duo at their best.

For their take on the track, Fideles bring their signature style and create a dance floor-ready cut whilst retaining the feel of the original. The distorted vocal is layered over a driving bass that carries the remix through layers of melodic synths, conjuring a deep and brooding sound dripping in atmosphere.

Abuk lands on Surrrealism with “Electrical Displacement EP”.

The young and talented Argentinian delivers 3 tracks of high voltage and great quality. SKALA and igor Bartyuk put the icing on the cake with 2 extraordinary remixes.

"Electrical Displacement" is the track that opens the storm. Like a gale, Abuk unloads all his fury and mastery from the very beginning. A dynamic and incessant rhythm accompanied by a melody that leads us towards aural pleasure and the desire to raise our arms.

"Badge" continues to administer volts to this current. The artist's skills are reflected in the combination of sounds and sensations through percussion and synthesizers. The tension and mystery are still present in this electric and electronic storm.

"Turn Off The Lights" is the final piece of Abuk's discourse. Far from ceasing in his energetic emulsion, he steps forward and accelerates the pace of each sonic beam. Creating a melancholy melody and escorted under a powerful bass drum, this is another emulsion of pure ecstasy. The storm never ends.

SKALA bursts into Surrrealism with her magnificent rendition of "Badge". The acclaimed German artist brings her special vision of creating and experiencing electronic music. A refined talent for squeezing every sound. The synthesizers roar with force to sign a cult track.

igor Bartyuk returns to the playing field where he feels comfortable. When it comes to storm and energy, igor is a headliner wherever he goes. Faithful to his sound that characterises him so much, searching through the deepest and darkest senses, he gives us a piece that puts the finishing touch to this powerful gale.

About the artist:
Milu Grutta (drums, piano, samples, electronics) bought his first computer in 1998. It immediately became a powerful tool to further his experimentations with sounds and to aid his musical discourse to develop and fully surface. Combining sampling and sound processing with a multitrack software, Milu Grutta creates imaginary landscapes, where harmony and rhythm interact freely. Recalling compositional procedures dear to the first pioneers of electronic music such as Luc Ferrari, Terry Riley, Steve Reich, K. H. Stockhousen, he plays with phasing effect, repetition, chance, granular synthesis and micro-editing to create textures and moods. The sampling library he uses is derived from his omni collection of 10000 vinyls and CDs, ranging from space age Jazz to contemporary classical to ethnographical documents from rural Sicily. After many years of excursions and research in the sonic sphere, he now uses moods and beats borrowed from the world of electronic dance music combined with strings and horns orchestrations, with the intention of bringing the listener (and the dancer) to a state of bliss.

We are thrilled to bring to the channel another free download in collaboration with @tokabeirut ! George (@g_b_s) made an amazing deep Melodic Techno track, which is downloadable on their page!

@precursornl rewrote the track into a blissful journey in which he shows his electronica side. The track reminds us of musical ballads from artists such as @antigone and @sebastianmullaert , in which the leads slowly evolve throughout the track. About halfway, Precursor's rework opens up and a new synth leads the listener on to an overwhelming climax that revels in emotion and satisfaction. We can't wait to hear this on festival speakers!

The 74th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital features a new artist to grace the roster. US producer Clay Smith is based in Oakland on the east side of the San Francisco Bay. Although he's a newcomer to the underground dance music scene, Smith has produced music for many years under his Kush Push alias, hosted many spectacular DJ's and parties at Burning Man with Never Sleep Again, and even studied music at the University of California Santa Cruz. Making an accomplished debut on Darin's imprint, he finds himself with a rare opportunity to showcase his considerable talent.

Characterized by an intricate percussive groove that moves the title track forward, "Jakarta Jam" is an impressive affair that paints an aural representation of the Indonesian capital. With its rich array of free-flowing ethnic instrumentation combined with vibrato analog synth lines, the tribal rhythm provides a strong and detailed sonic character. Vocal phrases and smooth additional effects add to the sonic tapestry in a dynamic 7 minute piece.

Continuing the sonic voyage across the Indian Ocean, "Durban Swing" immediately catches the ear with its heavy beat and rasping bassline sequence. Tribal percussive rolls can be heard in a reverb-laden percussion section, while a shimmering arpeggio holds sway throughout with its hypnotic looping and occasional raised octave section. Building with energy post-breakdown into a driving second half, the result is an atmospheric offering that demonstrates Smith's skill and craft.

With a sonic palette that continues the aural narrative of the previous tracks, "Shadow Walker" revels in a darker and more sinister tone. Juxtaposed by piercing sonic shards that create a grooved backdrop that sits tightly against a chugging rhythmic section, smooth pads and a trilling glassy lead add upper-range intrigue. Trademark filters and complex percussive arrangement add to the distinctive Clay Smith sound in another skillful offering.
