Plaisirs Sonores Records, the Montreal-based label founded by Hicky & Kalo, is thrilled to announce its monumental 50th release. 

To mark this significant milestone, the label presents two exceptional remixes of previously released tracks by the label founders. 

Karmon, the prodigious talent associated with Diynamic, emerges from a three-year hiatus to bestow an illustrious remix upon the timeless 'Time We Spent Together.' In his signature style, Karmon crafts a masterpiece that is destined to become an instant classic, honoring the melody of Hicky & Kalo. 

Makebo, known for his distinctive blend of organic and progressive elements, takes the reins on 'Luminous Path,' infusing the original track with his unique touch. Already championed by industry luminaries such as Lee Burridge, Hernan Cattaneo, Amonita, and M.O.S., Makebo's remix is set to captivate both old and new audiences. 

Label founders Hicky & Kalo express their gratitude for the journey so far: "Reaching our 50th release is a momentous occasion. We are honored to have Karmon and Makebo contribute their exceptional talents to remix our tracks. This milestone is a celebration of the incredible artists who have been part of our journey. As a regular at the top of Beatport’s sales charts, the Novi Sad resident continues to earn praise from the scene’s premiere tastemakers in Pete Tong, Solomun, Black Coffee, Tiesto, David Guetta, Hardwell and more. Famed for his official covers, there is perhaps no active electronic music artist who has remade more of our scene’s most seminal tracks. Dance2Trance, Depeche Mode, Felix Da Housecat, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Knights of the Jaguar, Mory Kante and more have all received Space Motion’s inimitable production touch. Continuing to search for seminal tracks to put his elusive stamp on, Space Motion recently took to remixing Paul Jackson’s ‘The Push’. Released in 2003 via Darren Emerson’s Underwater Records, the ten-minute plus tribal tech-house workout was the soundtrack of many DJ sets across the next calendar year, earning play from Carl Cox, Gabriel & Dresden, Pete Tong and more. “The Establishment” EP features three distinct tracks: the original mix, a TJ Lawton Remix, and a Mosh Remix, each offering a unique experience. The original mix showcases the synergy between Hasan Ghazi’s signature groovy basslines and ethereal vocal reverb effects, and Heatscore’s melodic prowess. Together, they’ve crafted a powerful, emotionally charged track that promises to take listeners on a mesmerizing afterhours journey. The haunting female vocals that resonate throughout the track, alongside Jim Morrison’s wisdom-infused breakdowns, create an unforgettable experience that’s as moving as it is dance-floor ready.
