MELODIC SERIES #21 | Adjust (BE)

Ventured many years together in the darkest depths of techno, these 2 frequencies collided with an outburst of energy. Equipped with a melodic, rumbling and driving dedication to their passion, their journey began many years ago. It was in 2018 when they took the MUSICASA producers education to pursue their dream. This duo, knowing each other for over a decade, has 1 single goal: to adjust your mind. 2020’s proven to be their first and firm step into pursuing their dream. Hosting a podcast (Adjust (BE) Invites) where they’re inviting numerous DJ’s/Producers to make a signature guest set in these difficult times, being a member of the ‘Underground Kollektiv Radio’ show, performed on livestreams and having a second release in 2021, they’re moving with full force. Their style can be best described als ‘energetic’, ‘no-nonsense’ and ‘emotional’ in a wide range of the techno genre, however they prefer to go head-on full melodic into the deepest and more emotional sides of techno. 

"For this guest mix we've written our known melodic signature story. Our drive, passion and emotions are converted in this single mix. The melodic and emotional tracks resonate with our mindset and how we behave towards other people, the driving tempo is the energy we embody when we're making tracks and mixes. The passion we feel for this genre you can literally 'feel' throughout the mix, the melancholic melodies, the pushing basslines and hyponitzing rhythms, they're all part of our signature style. We've carefully chosen tracks from our friends like Guy Augustin, Ezek, Eleven Of July, Tumzz, Eve and our all time favorite producer VNTM. Emir Kaynak is a Turkish DJ & Producer. With a long history of gigs in some of the best locations in Turkey, playing alongside key names of the industry, the Artist had the desire to take his artist project further and produce what he thought the dancefloors were missing. His growing catalog of Progressive and Melodic music is quite recent, but already features originals and remixes for labels like VIAGE, Inner Shah, Sunset Dreams (Interflow) and Human Resources.

Emir Kaynak prepared a mix for our Melodic Series with his unique taste. Enjoy a journey with deep melodic sounds.

Sterilephobia is a one-head project formed in Wroclaw in 2018 by Jakub Sapka - music producer, DJ and the sound engineer. Sterilephobia is melodic, non-sterile techno journey full of emotions, colorful landscapes and unusual visuals that stimulate your non-sterile imagination. Enjoy this trip through melodic techno interspersed with indie dance bangers, spiced with a pinch of progressive house. The selection is very danceable and lively, encouraging spontaneous fun, which is a characteristic feature of Sterilaphobia's sets.

Tiago Malheiros & Bruno Alves have been avid collectors of records for a long time, and their lives have always been intertwined with the electronic music scene. For long they have been lurking from backstage. But it all changed in 2018, when they decided to pursue music production. Their curiosity for music production and machines quickly became their common main interest. Far away from the ordinary, they are always looking for unique sounds, inspired by the vast and endless universe. Their productions and DJ sets are a synthesis of Space, Energy and Emotion. Every time they play, they invite you on a sonic journey through the cosmos.

MELODIC SERIES #23 | Deep:art & Ysmael Amasis

Simone Mangano is an Italian DJ living in Milan. Since he was a child he has always been attracted to melodic sounds so in 2010 he began his career as a DJ in afternoon parties offering trance music. In 2012, together with another person, he created the M.A.D’S tech house project, releasing the first productions. In 2014 he began a new project called RESONANT mixing tech house sounds with melodies, releasing several Ep and Remixes and performing in different parties both in Italy and abroad as well as publishing several podcasts for the radio show De Party Nacht for the Dutch broadcaster Meer Radio. In 2021 he starts a new solo project called EIDEN, inspired by his trance background, proposing ethereal sounds, he also joins Sounder Academy. This mix was made in Ableton using Push2. An escalation of sound from deep to techno.

ABSOLUTION - LIVE-STREAM @MSA STAGE FRANKFURT #NEWSTYLEZ

Bis zum Ausbruch von Corona und der daraus resultierenden sozialen Isolation, hatte ich mir ehrlicherweise nie Gedanken darüber gemacht, wie wichtig Berührungen für das eigene Seelenwohl sind. Küsse und Streicheleinheiten mit dem Partner, eine liebevolle und herzliche Umarmung mit der Familie und Freunden oder sei es nur ein "banaler" Handschlag zur Begrüßung mit den Arbeitskollegen. 

Das alles war ganz selbstverständlich und gehörte zur Routine des täglichen Lebens. Es war für mich unvorstellbar, dass diese Form der zwischenmenschlichen Kommunikation eines Tages wegfallen könnte. Erst als das Kontaktverbot da war, merkte ich wie wichtig diese Form der sozialen Interaktion ist. 

Zukünftig werde ich dem Ganzen mehr Beachtung schenken und allen die mir lieb und teuer sind, noch mehr zeigen wie wichtig sie mir sind. Denn wer kann heute schon mit Sicherheit sagen, dass dies die letzte soziale Isolation für uns gewesen sein wird.

Menschliche Berührungen

With the year that was 2020 and nowhere to go, I was over the moon when I was asked to do a 333 Flow Sessions set. With no clubs, parties or festivals in Melbourne since February it has been such a pleasure pouring nothing but passion and love into this set. From curation to performance, this set best represents my year to date. The tracks featured in this journey span from Melodic, Progressive and Deep House and all the way to Downtempo World Music. My intention was to present something different through vibrations and the energy they carry. In doing so this curation fluctuates, starting in the mid-tempo sweet spot then winding down with slow chunky vibes. To me, the soul of music can be felt in the lower end of the tempo scale and If 2020 has taught me anything, slow vibes are the future. Mixing music has always simply been that for me, combining tracks and allowing love to prosper. I'd like to say a huge thankyou to Corr, Jai, Deep and the Flow Sessions team for this opportunity to express myself unconditionally. I'd also like to pay homage to all of the artists for producing these amazing tracks and inspiring me to start producing myself. I hope you enjoy it! Much love <3

Biography: 
Hi friends my name is Hakan Cetinkaya
In the year of 1979 I was born in a city of Turkey, Istanbul. My interest to music started from my childhood. When I was young I listen rock and metal music mostly. While I was singing in some bands I found myself as a popular dance music listener suddenly. Those days I started to prepare mixes through cassettes to my friends and groups. Then I came across with progressive house and trance music. Since 2000’s to nowadays I played music in some small events. However I had to give a break to music for some reasons. Now my love raises again. In my sets I love play melodic, progressive tracks and dark sounds more. I love techno music so much. Each of my set has their own story and rather than one genre I would prefer various genres for both playing and listening. Within my aims in 2021 I will see my track in the lists of Beatport. Thanks for listening to me

Sieg oder Walhalla

Die Ruhe vor dem Sturm wird durchbrochen durch ein lautes Klopfen. Metall schlägt auf Metall und Holz. Die Frequenz der Schläge nimmt kontinuierlich zu, ebenso wie die Lautstärke. Es müssen hunderte, vielleicht auch um die tausend Schwerter und Äxte sein, die immer wieder gegen die Schilder ihrer Träger schlagen. Zu den Geräuschen der Waffen gesellt sich ein leiser aber eindringlicher Singsang. Mit einem unaufhaltsamen Crescendo schwillt die Geräuschkulisse zu einem barbarischen Getöse an. Die Anspannung entlädt sich mit angriffslustigen Schreien und die Meute setzt sich in Bewegung. 
Auf der anderen Seite der grasbewachsenen Ebene stehen mit schlotternden Knien die sächsischen Verteidiger. Sie sehen verstört und ängstlich aus. Auf sie stürzt sich eine todesmutige Armee, von bis auf die Zähne bewaffneten Wikingern. Die nachfolgende Schlacht ist mörderisch. Sachsen fallen unter den aggressiven Hieben der normannischen Streitäxte. Krieger mit gehörnten Helmen vergehen in einer Flut aus Pfeilen und Speeren. Trotz hoher Verluste auf beiden Seiten, ist es ein ungleicher Kampf. 
Die Nordmänner metzeln sich in ihrem Blutrausch unaufhaltsam durch die feindlichen Linien. Schlußendlich unterliegen die Briten und fliehen panisch, vor den siegreichen Kindern Odins. 

Wākhan gibt heute einen musikalischen Epos zum besten. Die basslastigen Percussions erzeugen eine magische Rhythmik. Die lieblichen Vocals versetzen ihre Hörer in Trance. Satt wie Met aus einem Füllhorn schallt der KataHaifisch Podcast 190 aus allen erdenklichen Klangerzeugern und verzückt seine gespannte Zuhörerschaft.

A considerable amount of Reznik’s record collection is built upon three chords or plain noise rather than four-four time. He does not believe in the utter worship of all that is synthetic and electronic to be a dope DJ for electronic music. In fact, many of his most thrilling moments in clubbing and DJ-ing have been of genre-broaden or –crossing nature.
The first time he dragged his record boxes into a night club was when calendars still displayed the last century – pretty much at the end of it, though. 
It was in 2009, a couple years after relocating to Berlin, when he teamed up with Adam Port, &ME, Rampa, Monja Gentschow and former member David Mayer and the whole Keinemusik story unfolded...

MEODIC SERIES #17 - Corvex

The Mexican DJ, producer and guitarist had premature contact with music at age 10 as a guitarist for multiple school bands and years later in local bands composing original songs and several "covers" of Indie-Rock, he managed to win the admiration of industry figures such as Andrik Palacios himself from "Drims" and Alejandro Cervantes from "Maldita Vecindad", so the stages and the industry are not new for this musician.
At 23 he began the project of ° Corvex ° product of his passion for electronic music, with a clear influence of Deep House, Progressive house, Minimal House and Techno, the sound of ° Corvex ° experiments with the "groove" of the elegant genres and the energy of Techno, creating serious atmospheres with a touch of mystery but never forgetting the essence of "House" ... dance. His genre is not faithful to just one, but his love for the cosmos and fiction have led him to create sets and original themes that try to emulate what would be heard in a "Space Club”. Managing to position himself in national and international tops on the "Mixcloud" page, and having had multiple appearances on the Berlin German radio "Limufy" the name of  ° Corvex ° is increasingly emerging in the industry.
