During 'Wave Form', Aurélien Arbet and Pierre Rousseau explore an interpolation of various recordings, often at the margins of traditional formats and conventional styles of music. During an hour, a long oscillation is formed out of a selection of interviews, spoken word, poetry, music for dance or art, marginal pop attempts and various field recordings.

Aurélien Arbet is an art director, co-founder of the clothing brand and publishing house Études.

Following on from the acclaimed “Talk From Home”, Suzanne Kraft returns to Melody As Truth with a second full release, “What You Get For Being Young”. Recorded in Amsterdam over the course of May 2016, “What You Get For Being Young” offers a full immersion into Kraft’s ever-evolving world. Lush, digital manipulated synths spread across cold surfaces, metallic drums dance around skeletal song structures. Whilst echoes of “Talk From Home” remain, they are but faint echoes, as Kraft’s recent exploration into sound-design and digital manipulation confidently posits “What You Get For Being Young” as an entirely new chapter in the artist’s growing narrative.

Like the wings Daedalus crafted for his son Icarus, John Gilbert Colman’s score for sampler, voice and chamber orchestra almost melted away completely, disappearing into the tides of time. The album originally served as the score to an avant-garde production of the Greek myth that toured the Belgian theatre circuit in 1986. Director Guy Cassiers cast the play with 45 developmentally disabled actors enrolled at the Krauwelenhof school in Antwerp, working for six months with the young actors (aged 12-17) to discover and develop their talents, creating (by all accounts) a deeply moving piece of visual theatre.
