After delivering a standout track on Melopees' compilation RETROFUTUR, Alberto Melloni returns to the imprint. As co-owner of the esteemed Raibano Records, Alberto has a deep passion for music in all its forms. A multi-talented keyboardist and guitarist, he presents here a release rich in Italian and House influences.

“Prism” is a groove-driven track, sharp and ready for the dance floor, channeling the best of Italo Body music. With soaring pads and leads, the track lifts off after the break into a bouncing, razor-sharp melody.

“Fresh Sequenza” kicks off with a frenetic, utterly danceable piano rhythm. The effects, the vocal snippets, the pads—everything combines to transport listeners straight into the joyful energy of 90s House.

To close out the original tracks, “Sayonara” is a tune that could get even the most reluctant dancers moving. The introduction flows seamlessly, with the track quickly evolving into a cosmic, unifying anthem. A true banger!

Back From The Wave also returns with a remix, adding a relentless, techno-rave edge to the eponymous track, infusing it with mental, energetic, and powerful vibes—no holds barred.

Wrapping up the release, Flight Status brings “Fresh Sequenza” a more acid-tinged vibe, blending in some 80s elements to elevate the flow. The irresistible piano riff remains front and center, a hook that's hard to let go of.

FEINSTOFF PREMIERE: Alberto Melloni - Fresh Sequenza [MELOPEE]

Frankfurt's Max Buchalik is in the early phases of his production career but has many years of experience throwing parties in his hometown, where he is a pioneering force. With his deep understanding of dancefloor dynamics, he now pairs his love of the 80s with rich sound designs on his debut release for Brooklyn-based imprint Melodize.

Opener 'Higher State' is a bright house cut awash with sugary, pixelated chords and twinkling pads. Its retro-future charms and colourful, uplifting arps all serve to get hands in the air and heads amongst the stars. Remixer Venice Arms is an alias of accomplished dark disco don Curses, who has long been a fixture in the Berlin underground. His take on 'Higher State' is a snappy proto-house cut with 80s synth work and natty chords that are busy and full of fun.
The second original 'Midnight Passion' is another vibrant track with throwback synth progressions and retro textures. The melodies shine bright as they rain down over snappy drums and melancholic leads packed with exciting emotions. Remixing this one is Italian DJ, producer and label owner Fabrizio Mammarella, who has a fine discography that takes in releases on DFA, Permanent Vacation and Correspondant, as well as his own Slow Motion Music, Wrong Era Records and Emet. His lively disco-house version is lit up with shiny chords, chattery percussive patterns, woodpecker-like hits, and sustained chords that will dazzle the dance floor.

40 Thieves are back on Roam Recordings, teaming up with vocalist Alona to release their latest cosmic disco gem, "Shake You Off". Fans of the trio (Layne Fox, Corey Black, and Jay Williams) might recognise them from the dance-floor classic "Don't Turn it Off (I Think I Like It)", their eclectic album "The Sky is Yours", or their previous Roam hit "Take Me I'm Yours".

This new single delivers a dance-floor ready track featuring Alona's vocals layered over lush electronic melodies.

The release also features two standout remixes from Roam Recordings alumni Shubostar and label boss Jason Peters. Shubostar kicks things off, maintaining the warm, inviting vibe while introducing a dash of Italo disco flair. Label founder Jason Peters takes a different approach, stripping down the original to create a deep, pulsating, heavy version. Rounding out the release are an instrumental and radio friendly edit of the original track.
This project has strong San Francisco roots, and we couldn't be more excited to collaborate with our Bay Area family on this release. But beyond our personal ties, we truly believe this record is something special.

For its forthcoming episode, the promising Andalucía-based label Burning Synths welcomes Spanish producers Roglar & Neburo and their powerful single “A New Member”. Italian virtuoso Francesco Cascella is on board with an equally mighty remix. 

This is not the first rodeo the duo rides together. Last year, they gave a go on the prolific French outlet Mélopée and turned some necks with “I Don’t Know”, part of Roglar’s well-received “Maybe It's Love” EP. Hopefully, it will become a fruitful partnership and repeat the success Roglar achieved when working with Mundo D and had their output published on Sincopat, Be Free, Audiophile Deep, and Aletheia Recordings.

Premiered here, the original distils its peak-time aura from the very beginning with a throbbing bassline and naughty percussive elements. The vocal hooks jump in and serve as an introduction to the progressive synth layer. The result is a Trance-infused beast devoted to triggering big-wide smiles and creating brand-new dance floor memories.

However, it ventures into a more tech-house-oriented style, blending the raw energy of techno with the groove and rhythm of tech-house.
