This is a live recording that was aired on ViBE 99.7 FM in Las Vegas at 1-2 am on late Friday night (technically Sat AM) November 11, 2023. I have always had a love for Ambient music. I started making Ambient mixes about 30 years ago. I have been wanting to record a new ambient mix for a while and while I was in Iceland recently, inspiration came when I was record shopping in Reykjavik and I found a store called Space Odyssey that focused on ambient and chill music. The music that comes from Iceland has been an inspiration for me and in going there I wanted to see what was special about this country that so many amazing artists hail from it. So this mix comes from that inspiration. Artists include Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Sigur Ros, Nils Frahm, Olafur Arnalds, Hania Rani and so much more. Put this on when you want to unwind, relax and chill.
