Sometimes I just wish we could live in a society with more empathy and compassion towards one another. where forgiveness and redemption came more naturally. there are different levels to this. it was only through several years of counselling that I began to really understand compassion. When we lack compassion, we hurt ourselves more than anyone, because after all we are all our own worst critics.

Hating someone is easy, loving someone is hard. Holding space for compassion and foregiveness towards someone you hate is even harder. But why would someone want to carry all that hate around inside forever? i don't, personally. 

That hate stews and it manifests in unintended ways. This is precisely what brought me here. its hard to watch someone you love in pain and you find yourself unable to do anything about it except cause them more pain when you try to show them love. Something about that feels pretty twisted to me.

A rule that disallows love just feels inherently wrong to me. Love cannot be stolen, because it cannot be owned. One can love both a sunset and a rose, find them both beautiful and enjoy their individual presence. The love for the rose does not diminish the love for the sunset. How could that be. They cannot be compared. I wouldn't want to lose either from my life, because they bring me joy and beauty, so why not enjoy them both. Why not enjoy all the love and beauty that this world has to offer?

The idea behind the challenge being to set yourself limitations as a producer - be that time, or only using certain software/equipment - and to finish the arrangement completely.

The amount of stellar remixes we received was astounding and hence we've arrived at this point, a compilation of all those amazing remixes being released on the label with all profits going to NHS Charities Together.
