'Rat Pack' immediately sets the vibe with satisfying plucked keys atop pattering drums and ominous atmosphere. Mindscape doesn't wait for listeners to get comfortable before unleashing two hulking bassline punches on the downbeat, setting the stage for the remainder of the tune. The intro draws to a close, and equally distorted bassline counterparts come into focus. 'Rat Pack' gets serious as aggressive drums converge with riotous vocal snippets to create a potently anarchic concoction. Melodic components descend downward, with a sense of hopelessness. A descent into madness, no doubt.

TENPUL ESSENT and SHROOMANIC are brothers Callum Farbon and Nick Farbon, two great producers from Melbourne, Australia. Well known in the Psychedelic Trance community as PSYLOSQUAD they have played in many open-air festivals, partys and events. Alternatively they have their own personal projects experimenting with Electronica, Downtempo, Chill and Breaks sounds! After a 3 month break Beat Assassins are back, all guns blazing.

One of my favorite older tunes from about 2005 that I recently had a bunch of fun making sound a bunch better. This is the first song I made when I got my Sequential Circuits Prophet 600, STILL one of the my most loved and go-to synths. Almost ALL of bass and lead sounds are from it. Its also, one of the very first synths to have midi in it circa 1983 and I was just figuring out how to send mess with that stuff at the time. Its a big, nasty, pitchy, beauty of weirdness type instrument. If you even see one out there GET IT, or lemme know cause it would be baller to have 2. The samples are very tongue in cheeky, but its pretty funny live. :D
