Lover, vinyl collector, DJ & selector of House, Synth, Disco, Boogie, Soul Afro Synth, Acid, Breakbeat, Italo and wobbly basey stuff :). Julie Wills is a Manchester based DJ available for bookings individually and as part of Manchester collective Out Since Friday, and all female party crew Disco Mums.
Individually and as part of the collectives, Julie has clocked up more than 20 years playing clubs, bars and festivals......Including Love International, The Social Service, Suffragette City, Hidden, Homoelectric, We Out Here Festival, The Refuge, Red Laser Records, Escape to Freight Island, The White Hotel, Electric Elephant, Kendal Calling, Manchester International Festival,  Blue Dot, Festival Number 6, Band on the Wall…. The list goes on!
Julie’s Monthly radio show Out Since Friday is a collaboration of Manchester based DJs on Reform Radio, with choice selections from varied genres and showcasing some of our favourite talent with our regular guest slots. 
Expect to hear a range of styles in Julie’s sets, influenced by the garage and house scenes and raves in London, Julie moved to Manchester in the late nineties migrating towards clubs like Homoelectric, Electric Chair and Aficionado, discovering that dancefloors needn’t be shackled to new releases and on-trend genres, it was about selecting the right tune for that moment, any genre, any decade, if It’s right, play it.
