Following his “Return” EP released in summer 2016, M.A.D.E.S is back with yet another release. “Awakening” marks the end of an era for the French artist and the beginning of a new one. M.A.D.E.S’ talent for creating atmosphere and narratives through his compositions and melodies has always been apparent in his music and in “Awakening” he finally lets his creative impulses run wild, taking his music into its natural conclusion. Leaving behind his Electro House and Complextro beginnings, “Awakening” serves as the first chapter of M.A.D.E.S’ ascend into the New Retro and Dark Synthwave sound. Joining him are the JST newcomers Knightbots with “The Hound”. A groovy, dark and action packed Indie Dance original combining an 80’s mood with French Electro sound and a hard edge. A perfect example of what these bots from Spain are capable of and a fine introduction to their music. Enjoy!
