On this very special episode, from Portland, we feature the one the only Duncan Gerow. You may know @duncangerow for creating some of the most creative and cleanest mashups in the game. It all started with his love for hip hop instrumentals, then came the discovery of acapellas and the rest is history.

Mercury Landing Episode #025 Feat. Duncan Gerow

His love of music has awakened in a past life, so in school time Alex began to try himself as a DJ. Clearly gave preference styles 2step, UK garage, speed garage. In 16 years, played the first set in the city of Togliatti, representing the Nizhnevartovsk district. The first work written in 2002 in the style of UK garage. In club life poured slowly and gently. Alias ​​himself because he did not think up DJing has remained little more than amusing hobby. 
Gradually gaining momentum, Alex was mercilessly "absorb" all styles of electronic music, from UK.Garage turned to House, Progressive, Tehno and finally stopped at the Drum & Bass. In 2006, trying his hand as a guard in the first and largest nightclub in Nizhnevartovsk "Pyramid". There he met with key staff of DJs Nizhnevartovsk. After that, accordingly, was to promote their DJ skills. 
In 2007 he became art director of nightclub «Hollywood», Nizhnevartovsk. Actually there and begins to conduct a series of closed drum & bass-parties. After the closure of schools, a favorite hobby had to be postponed. In 2009, Alex learns for himself another musical genre Dubstep and returned to the DJ scene under the name Serg Tachini. 
Currently a resident of the online radio "Alice Boogie" and a guest on various radio stations like FM and online.
